If it's due to bloating (and perhaps other reasons as well) - Wrye Bash'll do the trick!

Bloating? That would be strange as Sneaky.ess is only 2,3mb's big and there's only around 55 hours of total playing time... *shrug*

Wrye bash is one of the programs that I've somehow managed to ignore for so long. I will download it soon and try what it can do.

Hmm... It didn't crash after I removed all of my saves(whole folder including autosaves & quicksaves)...

Edit: The cause of the crash seems to be Lilith's save.

It works with every single other save, but when I add the "sneaky.ess" into the folder it crashes...

Damn it! Is there a way to repair a savegame ?

Or you may have updated some .ESP and the .ESM isn't updated.

Only thing in the near past that involved editing one of my esp's was when I chanced a few things in my customised cosmetic compilation...

It did work at least once after that...

@kalia: I looked into my OBMM and "oblivion.esm" seemed to be checked...

I'd upgrade my 3800 to something better, but... it's a 939 socket, and finding a 939 socket processor is IMPOSSIBLE these days. Well, not impossible... I've found a few 3800's for sale. But I think it might just be a wee bit pointless to side-grade to the same chip.

What mobo do you have?

My ASUS A8N Premium supports AMD Opteron X2 series processors and those are still very much available around here.

AMD Opteron(X2) 175 S939 to be precise.

@everyone: Great work with the screenshots!!

I like self-shadows, but the only way to make them look halfway good is with "high" shadow filtering and the shadow resolution set to 2048. My system isn't good enough to do that.

I KNEW I forgot something. Dammit. What's everybody's opinions on reposts? I think it would be silly to repost on a pictures thread that isn't going to be moving very fast in the first place. I really, REAALLY think we can do without reposts. The pictures will awalys be there in the archives if anybody wants to take a look.

I have no problem with other's reposts but if the picture thread is going to be a bit slower paced THEN I understand it.

I don't want to ban people. I don't want to warn people. I don't want to close anything, or tell people to play nice. I know where all coming from an environment where it was them (the mods) versus us (the people). It's not like that here. We (me spike and hector) are nothing more than MEDIATORS. We listen to what you guys have to say, and relay it back to the staff at SHS. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a funny thing about internet message boards. People love to argue and flame each other, but they never argue in PM. Why? Because they rather do it out in the public where everybody can see. "callin out" people of sorts. It's a method of gaining attention. Therefore, if two people decide that they positively hate each other and can't get along, the most "I" will ever do is the same thing you do with any kind of trash: make a new thread out in the middle of nowhere, and politely move their conversation out of the way so people don't have to step over it. There they can solve their differences until their faces turn blue. Without no one around to spectate, however, it quickly seems to dissipate. I'm not saying this because I don't care, I'm saying this because I respect everyone as mature people on the board that can all "self-moderate" like Kalia said without intervention.

I'm only speaking for myself on this, I'm sure Spike and Hec have their own personal moderating philosophies. Apologies if I sound like I'm ranting, and I promise I'm not referring to anyone either. I just felt the need to get that out in the open.
