From what I understand, Tortured Souls is part of Big Picture. I only installed BGT-WeiDU. I'm not trying to install any part of BP.

Ok I made it work deleting the BG1 music copying process from the batch file BGT-Complete. I also found a small bug in TP2 file (I think):

EXTEND_TOP ~MONTARON.BAF~ ~BGT/Compat/TDD/Replace/xMONTARON.BAF~
EXTEND_BOTTOM ~SHARTEEL.BCS~ ~BGT/Compat/TDD/Replace/xSHARTEEL.BAF~
EXTEND_TOP ~XZAR.BAF~ ~BGT/Compat/TDD/Replace/xXZAR.BAF~

The extend actions should be referred to BCS, not to BAF files, if I'm not wrong.

The only mods I installed are as follows:

WeiDU Ease of Use (only the item stacking components; I tried to avoid any unnecessary components)
WeiDU Item Upgrade (both for SoA and ToB)
Caspenar sounds for Item Upgrade mod
WeiDU Underrepresented Items
Monk HLA component of G3 Oversight mod (skipped all other components)

I didn't use any other mods.  I can live without the item upgrade mod if it looks to be the sole contributor to this problem, but I thought that all WeiDU mods were designed to work together specifically to avoid dialog.tlk problems.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a BGT bug, but rather a problem with the Item Upgrade mod. I did a clean reinstall and avoided Item Upgrade and any other mod components that include dialog changes and everything seems to be normal.

I'm having a strange problem that is making me think that I installed mods in the incorrect order, despite them being solely WeiDU mods.

On occasion, when I am 'waylaid by enemies and must defend myself' while moving between map areas, instead of 'waylaid by enemies...' being displayed in the text window, I always see some random journal entry.  For example, I was attacked by a group of gnolls and the text window filled up with the journal entry from the Prologue where Reevor (sp?) wanted me to kill the rats in the warehouse.  On another occasion, I was attacked while resting and the text window filled up with text about the gnome whose house in Beregost had been taken over by huge spiders, a quest I had long since completed.

And just last night I was clearing the bandit camp (BG1) and I saw in my text window:  "Dynaheir:  Celestial Fury +5".

Now, obviously, this has to do with the dialogue-altering mods that I've installed, most notably in this case the Item Upgrade mod (http://weidu.org/item.html).  I installed only the WeiDU mods from that site (Ease of Use, Item Upgrade, etc.) and I installed them after running the BGT install.  My question is; should I have installed them on top of BG2 *prior* to the BGT-WeiDU installation?  Or am I going to be stuck with this (admittedly minor) problem regardless?

I am already aware of incorrect journal entries appearing in rest spawn dialogues. They have been corrected. The Dynaheir text is likely the same cause. The issue was that some rest spawn dialogues still had their original BGT dialog.tlk references hard-coded into the ARE and were not updated correctly.

Hi All...I have some problem...i installed TDD WeiDU as the "forum manual" said...and after that I installed BGT...almost all works fine except that when I start new BG1 game my character is 89000exp (lvls 7-9)...how possible fix it? I really don't want to reinstal both mods...maybe some utility?
I have 2 options for a now:
Using bg tutu saves (which not include TDD kits :/ but include NPC kits :/ )
Using Shadowkeeper (however editing each and every char I create is sux...I must delete most of mages spells and some of profficiences...also reduce level, hp etc.)
Hey..plz help me: all info to : promilus@msn.com ...i really appreciate any reply.

Though i got other problems(more glitches really):
1. Cap Brage:
a. Came from east, the girl started dialog, i told her that i should kill cap, she became hostile. Dialog ended.
b. Brage came, started dialog, i solved the riddle, came back to temple with the guy. "good" ending.
c. went back to the area. the girl is there(hostile) and Brage is there too, just near the place where protagonist stood during the talk. I killed the girl, Brage became hostile, killed him too.
d. took his body and got my bounty.

2. Cloack of the Wolf.
(i assume that when i use it in wolf form i should shapechange back to human, right).
Anyway, the ony way to chage back is rest(i think time should pass, thats all). BUT my magical "wolf paw" weapon is still in my hand and cant be removed.
other funny thing is that i can *try* to cast spells ;) they all fail, still shouldnt this ability be disabled in anymal form?

Another bug:
Between city of Beregost and Naskel is small map (encounter 2 ogrilions with letter from Roe and 1 Flaming Fist mercenary)...the letter from Roe don't exist and his place now take some weird rogue gem <is it normal>...also game crashes when entering some X/Y on this map (even when walking the road heading to Nashkel I get everytime crash)...I don't know if other maps had the same problem...Beregost, Friendly Arm, Candlekeep looks and works almost fine <I mean no crashes there>. Plz help...

You installed Baldurdash Fixpacks on BG1. You need FRESH installation of BG1: TotSC + patch. Also prepair to expirience rare crashes(especially in Beregost). It happens.

Yes u have right...I forgot about baldurdash :/ I didn't even realize it would crash that game :/ <and i deleted my cerebral knight :/ *sigh*>
Ok...tomorrow I'll try with FRESH BG1+totsc instalation...

Nope, this is because of TDD-Weidu installed. And Baldurdash didn't help me in that case.
I'd advise to wait for more stable version of TDD from King Diamond.

Cloak of the Wolf - I believe one of the item mods is screwing this up. The wolf cloak works perfectly in BGT-WeiDU.

Brage - it might be that BRAGECUT, the cutscene script for taking you to the temple of Helm) is unsuccessful in destroying the original Brage at the area where you met him (ARA100). I'll have to try this further, but can you reproduce this?

Another bug:

Ok...so as for now:
-Candlekeep starting exp bug (I started with 89000exp)...propably incompatibility with PL game version and ENG mods...but don't know for sure
-Some areas crashes...possible because TDD WeiDU mod instalation...fixing as for now impossible...There is only one way-not to walk into such areas <confirmed problems with area near gnoll's citadel and south of Beregost...few informations about crashes in Beregost and werewolf island>
-Brage duplication (Brage don't disappear on old map when transfered into temple in Nashkel)...not confirmed (only 1 bug report for now)
-wolf cape bug? <I'll have to check it>
-some quest items changed into weird items (as for now one letter from minor quest changed into ROGUE GEM with some information...but not the same as should be on letter)
-little weird monster respawn (at original BG with 4 chars "party" there were little bands of gibberlings/xwarts and kobolds attacking..now only few of them)
-errors with instalation of some mods (I had to change some lines in DSotSC files to install it...some *LONG_BOW* parse error..I had to remove that *option* from that file...it was dsfordrg.baf...propably incorrect assignment or something >propably on BGT side...that is why i write it here<
Nothing more for now...I'll go back to testing.

I have that...
crashing game fixed (as for now) by uninstalling both NTotSC+DSotSC and BGT and then installing pure BGT (on TDD WeiDU modded BG2)...it really helped.

So this seemed to be buggy DSotSC files or something...or I just have lucky with an instalation now. I am at 5 chapter and I must say...so far so good :)
Still the starting exp getting me nervous :P <If I'll create a sorcerer I would have to clean him almost all spells he learns :/ the same with mage>
Can u make some patch or *.exe utility to apply correct exp? <20exp or something...>

All I can say is that BGT-WeiDU does not touch CLCK04, so unless the Cloak of the Wolf is already bugged in BGII (which it isn't, because I checked), then some mod is spilling blood on it.

Curious, hlid. Does making a infinitely-paged thread clog up anything forum-wise? Of course, separate topics will make it easier for people to find things provided there isn't continuous clutter about the same thing.
