Here is my pscut44.bcs for viewing to see if anyone can diagnose why I have a crash. The crash I had before was due to a creature file and same with other cut scenes problems with this mod. I am using 26a but I think I missed some fixes but I am working through it until now. Also I thought that extracting some of the creatures to override after bffing may have helped with this mod. Hard to tell right now as I think I have a lead and it blows up in my face.

OK I gleaned some new insights into this new crash.

I looked in AR0900.bcs and saw this global which hasn't happened yet in my game so I will go to slums again as that works, then to sphere and see what happens after.

I think you will not have problems with Planar Sphere 2.6b albeit maybe a minor one or two. Most of my issues are for 2.6a with the fixes from Malbolgia, Ikki, Ieldra, Scud and I think that is all. I think I forgot to implement some of them at install, but I can reenter sphere and talk to Lord Ao and fight some more ass kicking enemies. I think then the above posted Global will activate then. So far, so good and this mod has got to be one of the best.

Finished the Planar Sphere main quest and defeated the mage. I enjoyed getting my butt kicked about five times. One awesome mod!! Good items, tons of spells and great cut scenes. After this I did not have the crashes in the Temple so all is well to continue. I will test some backup saves to see when and how those cutscenes are supposed to work or if they need rehashing.

Not sure how tests are going with 2.6b but all the fixes I had to do are implemented in that version by cmorgan. This is one of my favorite mods now and a must install from now on. Kind of cool it ended up being a community project.

Groovy, I fixed the cut scene locally (check the Mod Resurrections forum) so the Planar Sphere mod rocks on. Version 2.6b should be super solid, but erebusant is making some TP2 additions/subtractions.

And now we return from our commercial break for some "The Darkest Day" drama. In Avaunis' dialog file, there is an error where he spouts the final quest complete lines when the first group of Psions are dead. (DD5000>Hall of Knowledge). Checking the actions I see Dead("PSION2") which are normal Psions. Andragore ("PSION4") should be the ticket for him to say the quest complete lines. Without this edit, he will constantly say "What about the Psions?" and have to stay or leave for good when kicked out. I wanted to keep him and I remember that in version 1.11, this wasn't an issue.

Here is where I changed in Trigger in AVAUNISJ.DLG
AreaCheck("DD5000")
Dead("PSION4") // Andragore

And in AVAUNISP.DLG

He says "But what about the psions? We have to stop them!"

The Sprite_Is_Dead only sets for Psion4, so that is why some people had troubles. If anybody can't edit the DLG, I can work on a workaround bit.

Hi Leomar, I am not sure if it works yet as I fixed the other one in game. With the decompiled .D files, Avaunis looks for checks for PSION2, rather than PSION4. What happens is he thinks the quest is not finished.

There are many PSION2 in the AVAUNISP.D, either for DEAD or !DEAD checks. They should all be changed to PSION4 for AVAUNIS to have right interjections. Maybe that .D file for AVAUNISJ.D was fixed or it may have been just my installation. I am not sure if everything will work but I used the corrected D files in my 040408 WEIDU log, so I am not sure everything will be OK. Anything is possible. My fixes above were for an already installed bug. The AVAUNISJ.D looks like mine so maybe that doesn't need changing.

Do you know if there is a TDD bug thread? We can use this one I guess.

I recommend a TDD forum, like all the others big BG mods have. Hey Admins, what do you think about a forum about TDD?
