And where did that scan of me at last month's office party come from... hm? :P

Quiet time ATM for Chrysta as I am in the middle of housebuying negotiations and doing my own conveyancing, so spare time is at a premium. Watch this space for progress!

The restraining order only said I couldn't come within 100m of you. It didn't say anything about not going through your garbage. :P

... But hey, that restraining order doesn't apply to the rest of us, ey?!

*Jumps in front of Sir K randomly, shouting slogans* and waving giant signs** *

*Slogans include 'Yay for Chrysta!', 'Chrysta for President!' and 'We love Chrysta!'

**Signs may contain traces of nuts, and mild suggestions to certain house-sellers that if they don't sell the house to Sir K for less than 10 dollars they may find themselves mildly inconvenienced by the dagger hilts protruding from their chests. :)

I'd put on a cheerleader outfit, but it tends to disturb people when I wear one (yes I have in the past).

Any progress being made? Some of us have been waiting since the TeamBG days you know. :P

*EDIT* Here is my stand-in. This should show how old I am, heh.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Thanks for helping to keep the place tidy while I have been busy elsewhere, Seifer. Mucho appreciado!

Anyway, I?ll try and get a new Developer Diary entry this coming weekend (albeit one which will read more like a ?Dear Diary? entry than anything useful or informative!), but I just wanted to say that RL issues are hopefully all tied up now, so expect to see some significant movements (hopefully of the non-bowel-related variety) I the coming months.

With reference to the title of this post, before any religious nutjobs start to track me down no I am not in any way, shape or form comparing myself to the big "JC" ((and no I don't mean John Cleese...) - although no doubt there may be some people spontaneously quoting his name upon seeing that I am back.

Well, I'm sure Jason Compton won't mind.

Thanks for all the comments peeps - having now finished my marathon run-through the BG series to re-acquaint myself, I've remembered just why I love this game... so now its back to work properly!

Watch out for slightly more (*ahem*) regular updates from now on. :)

Fortunately I am, and have always been, paranoid about losing mod content - so I am pleased to say that ALL dialogues, story outlines, banters and even copies of work done on portraits and an alpha version of Chrysta's kit are ALL still stored safely within her Workroom...

...and I even remembered the password :lol2:

So in other words, still a LOT of work to do but there is no soul-destroying "bugger-I-have-to-start-again" issues with her. I am spending this weekend reacquainting myself with where I got up to and I'll post a proper Developer Diary on Monday with - hopefully - some kind of realistic plan and timeline of where we go from here.

My only concerns are:

1) What advances/changes in modding have happened in the 4 years (yes it has been that long!) since I was last active

2) I have always been a writer/planner/ideas man rather than a modder - I've always sucked at the technical side - so I'm going to have to re-recruit a technical team to help me with the implementation and coding. And given the age of the game I know there is an ever-reducing number of interested parties out there to recruit a team from.

But where there's a will (and there IS definitely a will), there's a WEH HEEEEY! :lol2: So watch this space :new_thumbs:

I am a bit... well... I lost my muse etc, but if I have the right mood, I may be helpful, I suppose. Yet I'm not such a good coder as Liam. However, I may try to help, if you need some support.
