With LOCALS you have to individually select the NPC before doing anything with the console. (Which incidentally, is yet another good reason to avoid using LOCALS wherever possible, but I didn't know that back in the day...)

I have a saved game at that point, I just archived it and avoided the Neb job because I had the same problem. I'll resurrect it and try it again, see if I can get it to work right.


I tried it and it didn't work for me,either. BTW When I updated to the new fhnat.baf, the first time Nathaniel looked at me, I got in red "NO VALID LINKS OR REPLIES" I tried talking to Nathaniel and got "Nathaniel has nothing to say to you". After a moment he looked at me again and all was well. Dunno if this is normal when you reinstall a mod during the game or not, so I just thought I'd mention it.

I've just ignored Neb's head for now and proceeded on. I still found these things happening in my game.

- After the rest talk that starts with "Nathaniel comes to sit beside you as you are preparing to sleep" and then the morning after talk, trying to flirt gets "Nathaniel has nothing to say to you". He doesn't seem to initiate flirts either during this time.

- After rescuing Nathaniel from vampirisim, he frequently initiates dialogue and says the line you get when you try to flirt with him, i.e. (Something has been amiss with Nathaniel since his vampiric transformation...) This happens about every 3 minutes or so.

Well, started a new game with the latest files and have reached the Oasis in TOB, although I'm currently cleaning out Watcher's Keep. Nathaniel os a well-behaved powerhousekilling machine, but very romantic with it. The Neb quest didn't come up in this game (PC is fighter/mage/cleric with Nalia's castle as stronghold). Checking Stats shows that Nathaniel has killed all the dragons so far, and has more than 50% party experience. No glitches noticed so far ; looks like we've got a good one here. He was a bit moody after the Vamp experience, but came round quickly and apologised and made it up very nicely ;-)

Just for the heck of it I went and beat up a couple of peasants and got my reputation down to 6. After that Nathaniel had the walking problem - only moving a few steps each time, unable to fight, and lagging behind the party. He didn't say anything to me or try to leave, he just stopped walking.

Minor flirting thing: One of the "Can I heal you?" options has the response "(His cheeks redden but the rest of his face stays pale)..." but is not followed up by the spell.

I picked up Viconia late in the game when Nath's romance was already completed, so Nath and Charname are supposed to be in a committed relationship. So Viconia starts up her romance path and they have one argument, but when Viconia sleeps with Charname there's no reaction from Nathaniel and no romance kill.

I'm not sure if it can be fixed within this mod, but I just thought I'd bring up that Imprisonment kills off the romance. I know it's more of a game-wide bug, just figured I'd mention it.

I just tried to install Crossmod and for some reason Nathaniel's banters didn't install, though his romance conflict did. Maybe I should post this over at G3, but I thought I'd check here first.


In the pocket plane, after restoring Sarevok there's a line where Charname can say "That's odd, I don't feel any different." Nathaniel says "He could have died because of you" and Sarevok replies "I didn't get where I am without taking risks". After that it jumps to Nathaniel protesting Charname letting Sarevok join the party. The chunk of dialogue with Sarevok talking about Saradush is skipped, and so Sarevok doesn't open the challenge room for you.

In Saradush I can't talk to the little girl Elenor when she is in the temple. Clicking on her gets nothing.

Edit: After exiting and entering the temple again later I found I could talk to her.

Little flirting thing. With one of the outdoor bath flirts (Nathaniel agrees to your suggestion surprisingly easily) choosing any of the replies ends the dialogue straight away.

Oh dear, walking bug strikes again. Upon returning to Amkethran after killing Sendai and Abazigal, and after dispatching the mercenaries in town that suddenly turn hostile, Nath is stricken with that familiar bug (dithering, not moving to his circle, etc.) The timing seems to vary every time I reload, but it happens at some point after reentering Amkethran. If you need me to, I can send you my game file.

Anyhow I've now completed ToB, and aside from the known no epilogue issue I think I've covered all the bugs I found in this thread. It was fun playing. I hope I've been able to help you guys a little, and I look forward to the release of the next version.
