It's that time again, folks. Faren is nearing completion and we would love your help with playtesting.

Laidback and lackadaisical, Faren brings straightforward loyalty, a sense of humour and a touch of moral grey to the party. And for eligible PCs, he can become something more, but don't expect angst or clinginess from him - he is very much his own man.

You can find Faren in the Trademeet jail and play with him until the end of Throne of Bhaal. The mod is stable and playable. It includes two encounters with various outcomes, friendly banters with the PC and a full romance. Faren banters with the Bioware NPCs and has extensive flirts, interjections and situational chats.

If you're interested, please PM me or post here. Now, I'm off to find some more synonyms for "easygoing", and it ain't gonna be pretty...

When did this happen? Silly me, the date of the post is right there... I would love to help playtest, but RL is giving me very little time for gaming. I still check the forums for updates on my downtime though! Congrats on getting the mod in beta so quickly! I'm looking forward to having Faren in my party.

I've been lurking here for long time and now I think it's time to ask if you need someone to test Faren how compatible is he with other mods. I'm not a coder but if you still need some testers, I have time to do some testing.

I've been lurking for ages as well and I've been looking forward to this mod for while - he looks really interesting, and I'd love to test him out. I'm not a IE modder myself but I've played pretty much every mod out there and I think I'm good at picking up on when someone's out of character or something. It'd be great to have an excuse to play through BGII again if you'd let me test him

I've just started playing BG2 for about the seventh time over the years, each time more fun than the last with the new mods. Last time I looked this was still under development but was looking forward to its completion. I'm not a coder but if you're looking for play testing for stability, I'd love to help. Either way, looking forward to the release!

Well, Faren interests me so much I've stopped lurking at long last. I realise I'm a bit late, but if you're looking for any more testers, I'd love to have a run through (Nathaniel's been a great addition to the game, I must say, so I'm looking forward to Faren). I've quite a few mods saved on my computer, so I'd be able to check compatibility with a few for you, if you want?
