Niall was sweet. Man, I so wanted Niall in my party! I wanted Rowan in my party! Alas, they either get killed or... get killed. Or remain in the dungeon. Or whatever. Sigh. "Smuggle Niall: We're All Doomed" mod, anyone?

This is the first/latest game that I am able to have all the settings maxed and still have smooth fps.

My favourite part of this game is that enemies can grab you or rip you to shreds.

I'm playing through again and just noticed that there was a comment made about "the start of a bad adventure story" after killing some rats, heehee.

You've seen "If everything else fails, Go for the eyes" note during loading times?

...

And the funniest thing occurred, due to a bug, I'll have to presume.

My main char got stuck in his massive Legion of the Dead tin-can, he wouldn't remove it for anything.
So you take a guess, was compeltely I cracking up all the way through the super-safe-sex-scene...

Well, sure, ok, it could well be that Morrigan is just a bit on the kinky side of things, but eh...

I'm playing through the game very slowly at the moment (exams...) plus I don't want to miss anything interesting by rushing through it. Mage for the win!

DA has proven to be an excellent and entertaining game for me at least, and judging from the opinions here, it has been like that for many people. No wasted money there.

I'll probably be still playing this same DA playthrough next spring when ME2 is released if my speed doesn't pick up... not that I'd mind though, I do need something to play until ME2!

Edit: Typo

Isn't ME2 schedueled to come out in January? I just can't believe this winter. Torchlight, DA:O, ME2, King Arthur (man am I looking forward that, even though I've never played that kind of game), probably Starcraft II. I'll never have time to play all those games. On top of that, I only now realised that Blood Bowl has been released, so I've also bought that.

Only disappointment was Alpha Protocol being pushed back, but looking at the above, I probably wouldn't have time to play it anyway :P

ME2 will be released on January 26th in North America and on January 29th in Europe.

I wonder if they let me take a vacation in January... Then again, I never played ME1, so I might start with that!

Heard good things about Torchlight, too, by the way. Gotta try it.

But for now - Dragon Age! I do want to complete my playthrough first.

But didn't you just say spring? I is confused

Anyway, Torchlight is fun enough. It's a little worse than Diablo in some areas, and a little better in others. It's worth about 15 hours of fun, and at 20 bucks, I'm not gonna complain.

Haven't heard it yet. But I saw another thing! In one of the noble estates(it's a vital quest, not spoiling, but you'll get it sooner or later) I saw a soldier and a maid in the bedroom, doing something suspicously like oral sex(her head right next to his groin). Add to this a floater line "Shh, or the housekeeper catches us" - and you can imagine my reaction.

Yeah, I saw that one too, and was... well, a bit surprised really. They didn't seem too happy that I interrupted them :D
