Hey Lava!

How can I get yvette  back after she leaves me in Spellhold? Help me, please?

Lava, I had no opportunity to visit gabriel's realm.  I added Imoen to my party. When Yvette said something about someone or something calling her to the north, I went north.  I visited both puzzle rooms, the goblin room and the gem room where I received the doomplate.  I then went to the yuen-ti room with the talking statue (even though it is more west than north).  I even sacrificed a party member and visited the hall of death.  Then I started to leave the room where I added Imoen and Yvette left, again saying something about something calling her to the north.  I went ahead and played through spellhold to the point where I entered the underwater city thinking Yvette might return.  She did not.  Any suggestions?

Hmm... strange -- something must have broke the string. You would need to use the save where you join Imoen, go to the portal and fight the creatures until the genie or whatever it was appear and give you the plate. After this thing is completed, she should enter the portal along with her. If the talk that teleports you do not appear, you may use this codes:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("GeniePlat12","GLOBAL",0)
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("YvetteSpellhold","GLOBAL",2)

and make sure you are standing CLOSE to the portal (Yvette should be near the portail, I mean -- quite near). That's also a codition. If that doesn't help, do not give up and let me know. I'll try to help.

Lava, I didn't have a save that went back to before I added imoen.  I have started over.  Talk to you again in a few days.  Many thanks for all the help and for replying so quickly.

Uhm, I wish you could solve it in a different way, but...it may be difficult. Like setting more than 10 different variables, create the cre, set experience etc...

And come on, don't start posts with "Lava," because it seems a bit like "come on, Lava, you really think I do have the save...?" :D I wish I could help you more, really :P

The idea with the comming to life NPC from a canvas is brilliant.

Could you please mention somewhere (readme?) the romance prereqs (human, elf, half-elf etc), so that people like myself doesn't have to wonder why my half-orc doesn't got any reaction from the canvas after some initial talks?

I'll try to remember. Actually, if I were to set the requirements today, half-orcs would be allowed. That's something I need to think about for the next patch. As for now... perhaps use the Console? For old BG: CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("YvetteMatch","GLOBAL",1) ; for EE that would be C:SetGlobal("YvetteMatch","GLOBAL",1)

Sure! Enjoy! I hope you won't get the Spellhold quest problem that seams to haunt the project since the very beginning, heh.
