There have been no insults, except I think it was slightly rude of you to make such a change without notice or discussion first. Especially after I informed you that the mod is compatible and you were made aware that the mod has been used successfully by many EET players.

I specifically worked on EET compatibility with k4thos. I don't control him or when he is around to edit a single post. All I can do is provide the requisite information in the thread attached to that post, so that people can act on that information.

It's very puzzling to me why you would do this without including the relevant modder to discuss it, and seeming to pointedly avoid discussing it when it is raised for discussion. Again, it seems rude to me - perhaps unintentionally so, but if I am unintentionally rude I hope people would let me know so that I can modify my behavior. I am letting you know.

BWS was treating FnP properly. Everything was correct. You changed the status quo without need, and without discussion, and without confirming that a change in fact needed to be made. Please return BWS to that status quo until information and discussion reveal that a change should be made.

This is how it now appears in EET selections. Please take a look to verify that the component selection is correct for that game.

There will still be the open issue of how to deal with other similar cases in the future. Or whether the rule for BWS to follow EET should be skipped.

But that is for other people to decide...

Thank you. That all looks fine. A few notes:

- Component 325 should be removed... but that's an oversight on our end, I need to disable it in the .tp2.

- Most/all of the individual kits require that the main component for that class be installed. E.g. components 201 through 332 require that #200 be checked as well. Not sure if there would be a visual indicator of that or what.

- I don't see component 102, the "install everything" component that most players would likely use.

Can be removed in BWS - just for EET or for all games?

Such dependencies cannot be shown on the selection screen (one of those issues caused by the non-maintainable system underneath). You can make *stupid' choices and you get the feedback only when you move to the next step(menu) which will then indicate you all the mistakes you have made. The rules are defined in .ini files. You could give the user a hint in the description texts, e,g, saying in 201 blabla (requires component 200)

- I don't see component 102, the "install everything" component that most players would likely use.

That is only a matter of my screenshot, I had not expanded the little plus sign of *Select an install method* that would open the choices

ANN;101 only for IWDEE  (this is not shown to user)
MUC;Faiths_and_Powers;102;09;0111; (this is pre-selected per default)
MUC;Faiths_and_Powers;103;09;0000;
MUC;Faiths_and_Powers;105;09;0000;

Ah, I understand. No problem.

I guess component 325 can stay... I don't like that kit but I suppose we should replace it with something better, instead of just deleting it.

No changes, then. Cheers

Hello,
can you add this alternative take to IR into BWS?

So, there's Vlad's new mods compilations and i wanted to test them in BWS. What would be best shot to do that? Should i install BWS setup (without biffing) then VC+NEJ and then run biffing?

Oh. That's sad. I tought that better support for BGT would mean that it's more compatible with BWS too.

Well, technically "better BGT(-weidu) support" is a started... but only that as the last one was BGT-weidu v1.01 with altered .tp2 file for the NeJ part of the mod. So there's quite way to still to go from there to full BWS support.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

It's the third time in a few hours I get a crash to desktop quicksaving, never happened with previous installations.. anybody has any idea what the issue could be, or where or what to look to investigate?

Of the two last crashes, one happened during/after a successful save, the other one happened during/after the "you cannot save in dialogue mode" message, so the crash is unrelated to the actual completion of the saving.

Thanks.

Could you check Item Randomiser? It would seem that no matter what value you choose, "randomly not randomize" component is always set to 90. I set it to 10 and here is the line from the exported .ini selection:

randomiser=510 510?1_90 530 540 560 1300 1300?1_y 5005 5015 5025 5035 5045 5055 5065 5085 10300

This would confirm why in every installation I easily found items where they were supposed to be.

The 90 is the default value set in BWS configuration. If your entered value is not changing it, there might be a bug.

The current status of BWS is probably known well enough by now, so there will be nobody around to fix the bug. We need to find a solution within the configuration files that can still be managed.

I will change to 90% default, which is surely not realistic, to 50% (a proposal). I do not know if that solution works, but it may be worth a try - I will also set the 1400 value of 10% to 50% as well.

Yes, I confirm that BWS doesn't record the inserted value, anyway. Definitely a bug.

Roxanne is one of them... should tell you perhaps, that things could be better, but they are not absolutely abysmal either.

There is none who maintains the program (software) itself, there are only some modders who try to keep the mod configutations up-to-date best as they can, But even that is limited to EE/EET and not the old game anymore.

I confirm that also the weird problem at Thalantyr's was caused by Ascalon's Questpack. I suspect it also caused issues with Imoen Friendship installation, but I'm not completely sure on this side. Should definitely be marked red, while it waits to be updated.

Problem with Thalantyr discussed in this post and following: http://www.shsforums...220#entry596461

Problem with Imoen Friendship installation here: http://www.shsforums...217#entry596251

About this last one, it appeared only if installed together with Ascalon's.
