I ask this because I'd like to get it all in one go, but I heard that Atari did the Diamond compilation, and put some kind of wonky copy-protection on it that messes up a few things with the game.
Someone recommended that I get Platinum instead and just get the Kingmaker module later.
Any advice either way?

Diamond is better, cuz latest paches solve all problems, they actualy remuved the copy protection cuz that was the only solution 
)
