Wild Mage Problem

Hi Everyone,

I've found another small, yet a little more annoying problem with my megamod (Hope I am posting in the right forum).

After using mainly a recommended BWP install using the BWS application, I noticed that there was a problem with creating a fresh Wild Mage. After the character is made, the game seems to revert the character back to a regular mage. I have all the wild mage specific spells available in my spell book.

Wild Surges do not seem to be working either. I tested this by using Nahal's Reckless Dweomer and every time I cast a spell with that active, it always casts successfully (even though the failed spell animations are going off).

I searched other posts saying not to install certain kit mods (Prestige Kits & Return to Trademeet Kit Pack), or the BG2Tweak - Enhanced Dual Classing, which I have left out, but alas its still bugged.

If anyone can help me out with this, I'd be really grateful!

But then again, I am probably barking at the wrong door so to speak... this problem has been encountered before, but I have no knowledge what it was that made the kit revert to the normal- "mage".

Hmm. I'm guessing there is no fix for that besides not installing the component?
