It already exists as a component of the BG2 Tweak Pack, and has so for a long time...

Such a shame! I really love Homeward Bound's feature of displaying the additional epilogues of the companions you sent home... Why do you think it would be incompatible with the EET Fate Spirit? EET only affects the summoning, right? And HB only the sending back?

Ah, one more for my compatibility list... too bad!
#615406 [MOD] BG:EE Classic Movies

Someone else seems to have tried the same - upscaling the original clips. My eyes aren't good enough to discern the difference (if any) between their work and yours, but he did the BG2 clips too, so a collaboration might still be interesting:

Here's an interpretation for you:

It needs some work but you get the idea.
Wow, crazy to think that the idea and art for the Balduran's Seatower mod go back nearly 20 years!
By the way if someone ever does, I would love to see the actual song of the Elfsong Tavern be put in as a small mod for nostalgia purposes.
This has been done by Jarl's Adventure Pack, which ports the beautiful song from BG:DA to the Elfsong Tavern, plus a little quest to go with it.
#615404 Small Review

Completely agree with this review! I also really appreciate that she has her own good reasons for being where she is instead of just magically tagging along to Charname's charisma. She has her mission in Nashkell and works pefrectly well as a temporary NPC there instead of absolutely demanding a permanent party slot (the rarest resource in the game these days...)
#615403 General discussion

Love the adjustment to the opening cutscene! I for one adore Chateau Irenicus - it's one of my all-time favourite video game starts - so I never thought of giving this mod a try beyond testing purposes, but that independent component should receive more spotlight. In all those years I somehow never wondered why Imoen came out of that room with the golem rather than a cell...

#615392 BWP v20.1 released

So, is there by now any version of the BWP install order guide which takes EE only mods into account?
#615390 [MOD] SoD Banter Restoration (for EET)
Posted by Isewein on 05 March 2024 - 05:40 PM in Miscellaneous Released Mods
So, since this mod seems to be the typical Roxanne-style pig in a poke and AstroBryGuy's version is explicitly incompatible with EET, it seems that we're stuck with missing half of SoD's banters in EET... Or am I missing an updated version somewhere?
#615389 Homeward Bound
Posted by Isewein on 05 March 2024 - 03:03 PM in Miscellaneous Released Mods
Is v8 the one updated by Deratiseur here? Or has there been a separate update somewhere?
And if so, would someone knowledgeable in these matters be so kind as to advise me whether I should install it in the BG2 portion of an EET install as it is or try and run the EET converter tool? It doesn't seem to contain chapter variable checks, so basic compatibility seems likely to me (as Gwendolyne stated in that Beamdog thread). I realise it might not be the most stable option, but I wouldn't want to leave that well-beloved mod behind, and anyway it seems that someone needs to try whether it works on EET or not anyway.
#615388 BGEE/2?

Wow, I just saw this! So glad Aurora has finally made it to EE. Good on you, Austin!
#615382 BG2 Improved GUI

Very good suggestion here:

Any chance we could make some of the components work for EE as well, especially the BG1 style greeting in EET?
#615141 SHS Suggestions and Problems Thread
Posted by Isewein on 04 December 2023 - 05:51 AM in Directives from the Director
I'm really glad that Mark Twain's old adage applied to SHS once more. Well done on whoever made sure this repository of knowledge was preserved, when so many other forums with years of posting history have vanished for good in similar circumstances. Which leads me to ask - could someone assuage my feeble heart and confirm that there is indeed an offline backup of the entire site safely stored away on someone's HDD? Just for future eventualities... the Wayback Machine alas isn't really a feasible archiving options for forums.
