Yep, the idea is that, to make things more interesting. BTW, Minsc can in any event force all locks and take the traps' damage without much problems.

Understandable but quite painfully! I mean, irenicus dungeon without Imoen? Am I supposed to get Yoshimo in level 2, backtrack to one and unlock stuff/disarm traps then?

Im having the same problem. Its not yust "cosmetic" since you cant use the thief abilities in the quick bar! How can we fix it? Shadow keeper? Thanks!

All right, but a kensai at level 1 is quite weak, isn't it?
Well I'll have to rely on my party anyways.

Another question: Imoen is dualclassed in BG2. I don't really like it (I guess), so what happens when I have Imoen in my party at the end of BG1? Will I end up with the dual classed version or so? How is this done? And what happens with the slight differences in stats for Jaheira and company?
When I take among me a BG1 NPC I suppose he won't ever interact with the BG2 NPCs or is this also included in this mod?

Woah that's pretty amazing! I'll check it out, still a long way off the BG2 Irenicus dungeon hehe.
Sir BillyBob: Yeah I know, but thanks anyway, and yup I have both bg1+exp and bg2+exp.

Too lazy to start a new thread: When you are thrown in the Irenicus dungeon at the end of BG1, do you lose all your items? I guess.
Another (last one) question: wich class should I pick in the beginning of BG1? I've played trough bg2+exp numberous of times but never managed to start bg1 until now. So far, I'd really like to have the following group:

- a bard of some kind (I heard there are enough NPCs)
- A Kensai/Mage (horray! But kensai's are too weak at lvl1, or aren't they?)
- A thief including backstab (same as bards, at least I think so.)
- A sorcerer (hello Kelsey?)
- A Druid maybe? Never played those before.

So I don't know yet what my protagonist should be like.

Hello all,


Planning on replaying trough BG1 + TOSC + BG2 + TOB  :D
But I do need your help guys, I can't really find a DESCRIPTIVE readme anywhere (yeah the readme is interesting but nothing states gameplay details). Could you help me out and try to answer some (stupid) questions ?Thanks!

Yeah but then you do have two copies of NPCs wandering around or not? And your Edwin or Minsc from BG1 won't have anything to say at all, no quests, no banters, because BG2 yust thinks you manually created that char (thank you import function  <_< ) correct?

I recently found out about this great IE mod and would love to try and give it a go. But so far I have some questions about other (BG2) WeiDU mods and compatibility wich are _NOT_ listed above. Would you be so kind to check and post it or add to the list if they are compatible or not?

- BG2:ToB Refinements v3 (Mostly HLA stuff)
- BG2:ToB QuestPack v2
- Underrepresented items, ascension, tactics, ease-of-use e.d. from http://www.weidu.org/
- Freedom's Reign / Reign of Virtue from the Gibberlings3 Tweak Pack
- Rogue rebalancing mod with custom shop
- How do I add the Secret shops from the collectors edition? Yust copying the two files to the override folder?

Oh, also, what do you mean by "partially" compatible?
What happens when I do install Kelsey-ToB or Keto v2?
