I really hope your info is going to be ok! I've become so paranoid of computer troubles that I back up my creative stuff on numerous USB's, after I had a total HD crash and lost a lot of writing and art.

Well, the good news is that I have older backups on another machine and a lot on good-old pen and paper. So the project won't be complete toast in any case, the worst thing is that it will just cost me time- as if I need another delay.

I'm not online often but I still have managed to preserve most of my work from my laptop crash. I do what I can, and when I have anything to report I'll do so in the Developer Diary thread.

give him some time. he only recently announced (in Novemeber) his harddrive problems and has likely spent most of his free time since trying to recover as much of his info as possible. As has been said before, when he has something new to tell us, he'll post it in the update section. Let him know we're still eagerly looking forward to this mod, but let's not harp on the poor guy.

Computer problems can be downright nasty, even for a mod like Valen expansion.. since I'm grateful for every day my computer starts up, you have my full sympathy.
Was going to re-ask about speed, level drain and use of domination, but I guess it will all come up in the mod.
Will continue to wait patiently for Valen. Good luck.

I'm one of those who have been looking forward for this mod for years. But give him time Resident Evil.
I'm young and got years more to wait. Would you want a quick and buggy product or something that has taken time and skill to complete?

I'm pretty sure Thorium doesn't have the heart to admit this mod is dead. I've been watching this mod since it practically first came up, which is about 3 or 4 years ago almost?
Hate to say it, and it's not like it's his job or he owes us anything. But I find it incredibly unlikely this will ever be released or that Thorium's pc problems, at least in the public eye, will ever go away.
Hope he can prove me wrong though.

I can respect people's frustrations given the length of time this has been in development coupled with it's many setbacks.
On the bright side, one can take solace in the fact that the modding community as a whole still appears to be offering many cool, creative things to play.
