I have tried using the Beregost Crash Fixer util on the savegame file, but it still doen't allow me to enter Beregost.

When leaving area to enter Beregost, save game screen comes up, but as soon as "Loding" screen appears = CTD.

Well, let's get some more information here. Are you running any mods? How about a WeiDU log? We can't begin to know how to help you with the current info.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOHOO! What a Ride!

Some people are like slinkies. They are not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs!!

Did you use the latest version of the Fixer and Java as per this post?
