Chicago first. Blind Faith Cafe, if vegetarian or vegan; Lawry's if prime-rib eater, or just Eli's Cheesekake Factory until expired from gustatorial excess. My wife and myself's treat.

I have always and steadfastly loved the round shields.

Yes, very cool. Diablo II shields smoke nervously in a corner.

How does it work? When we install 1pp v3, will all shields be replaced, or only bucklers and small shields? Or... ?

Astonishing.

But why should I feel surprised any more?

Congratulations, Erephine!

And beautiful new avatar!

That said, I probably won't have access to my computer for a while. I did make a copy of my files though and shall see if I can get things to work elsewhere.

Test install of 1pp on EasyTutu_ToB_Beta, fully modded. Copied in the following order

1pp.v3.medium_shield_fix
1pp.v3.IHEO.paperdolls
1pp.v3.d1.shield.legacy.rar

Paper dolls look beautiful. I put a bucker on my Blue and Gold Paladin for testing, and everything looks soooo gooooood... this may be the first time I play a Paladin who uses bastard swords and a buckler, just because the quality is so much higher than the standard resources. No errors, no artifacts, no glitches - absolutely stellar.

I really, really appreciate the work that went into all this. And I am so looking forward to the other shield rebuilds. And I am serious about Chicago area food (or a PayPal account, for that matter) - noone does this for the nonexistent "RL" rewards, but this work has provided thousands of hours of enjoyment to huge numbers of people.

I can but second cmorgan's appreciation for this quality work!

Erephine is a pillar of this community with her beautiful contributions!

Playing BGT I won't ever equip a shield other than a buckler if not revised by our heroine here...

I've tried this yesterday and i must say it's AWESOME. One of the things i missed when i started playing BG1 again were the round shields and bucklers, and now i have the bucklers again, fuck yeah!

Hope you release the small shields soon, i just can't wait to see my dwarves with those again :3.

Keep up the good work!

I'm back :) I could have released this a few days ago, but I didn't want to before I fixed a few things.

Oh, and because I know people will keep asking this: I am aware of the fact that the shields look larger on male human avatars. This was not my idea, but has been around since Baldur's Gate I. It looks fine (if slightly inconsistent) to me, so I didn't see any reason to change it! :P

Because practice makes perfect, I've touched up the bucklers a bit - there were a few things I wasn't entirely happy with.

I've edited the first post with an updated link (same screenshots), or you can click here.

Hmm, well the filenames for the two links are slightly different (v3.d1 and v3.d2). Which one is the right one?
