I have this problem with an unmodded BG2-ToB using either NearInfinity or DLTCEP to view areas. Happens with a lot, though not all areas. For example, "Error reading AR2402.WED - data/AREA210B.bif not found". And the .bif is there, in C:\Games\BG2\CD4\Data. I thought it might be my baldur.ini, or maybe my registry, since I have several different BG2 versions installed, but I also have "CD4:=C:\Games\BG2\English;C:\Games\BG2\CD4\" in baldur.ini. Any ideas?

I don't know... corrupted chitin.key? Does it happen with one particular installation or with others, too?

It happens with all the BG2 installs. Not sure how it would've gotten corrupted, since the base installs are unmodded, and one is a fresh-off-the-DVD SoA which I haven't touched and does the same thing.
