Hi. I have a little problem.

I installed aTweak 3.91 after installing Refinements, and my Avenger shapeshifts to Fire Slamander, and I noticed that the Salamander form gives 3apr instead of 2.

Could you check it?

Cheers

In addition, The Elemental Summoning HLA just summoned 2 water elementals instead of 3 elementals, fire/earth/air. And the water elemental's stats look like Refinements' instead of aTweaks' (VERY slow movement speed even slower than Earth Elemental). Refinements and aTweaks seem to have some compatibility issue imo even if aTweak is installed after Refinements.

Furthermore, the earth elemental summoned by Conjure Earth Elemental dealt with double damage at once sometimes even though any Earth Elemental (Lesser/Normal/Greater/Elder) didn't have such ability.

When the double attack occurs two dialog messages are introduced like

Earth Elemental did 25 damage to xxx
Earth Elemental did 30 damage to xxx

I installed SR before installing aTweak.

Most of abilities works fine imo (Whirlwind, etc.).

The OP says compaitbility bugs with other mods should be posted in the compabiltility thread, but that hasn't been used in a long time, so I am reporting here.

There seems to be a conflict with BG1 NPC project. That mod adds dialogue to NPCs after dreams that grant Bhaal powers. I haven't received Bhaal powers after the first three. (Two healing touches and one cure affliction). After the dreams that give the others, I had Dynaheir and Imoen interject immediately on wakeup. I am in Baldur's Gate now and still haven't received DUDM.

My Weidu log: (Text-dump warning, ahoy!)
Spoiler

Also, unsure if this relates to aTweaks: I had Ghasts that won't attack. Skeletons that suffered morale failure :excl: and Skeleton Warrirors that just stood there and took a beating.

I am trying to figure out if some mod changes them before reporting to David on SCS forums and would appreciate it if you can confirm it's not PNP undead from aTweaks causing the strange behaviour. :)

I'll look into it.

I'm afraid your problems with undead may be a result of installing SCS after aTweaks. It is a compatibility scenario that I have not looked into (and I don't know if DavidW has looked into it either), as both I and DavidW recommend aTweaks be installed after SCS. The bit about skeletons and morale failure I will look into, however.

Okay, I cannot reproduce this problem with BG1 NPC installed. You don't have anything particularly exotic among your mods, so I doubt it is any of them causing problems (if it were, I would think this problem would be more common). Worth pointing out is that you do not get DUHM until after you have spoken with Eltan after raiding the Iron Throne compound.
Am I understanding you correct in that you have had three or more dreams yet received no Bhaalpowers?

My error. I only have one cure affliction power. I thought I should get two of them. (Total 6 powers). I did get the two DUDMs.

Okay. It is still odd, but leaning more towards script glitch or similar. Or maybe the ActionOverride can occasionally be interrupted by the party dialogue, but that wouldn't be a bug in aTweaks, as it uses the same delivery mechanism as the underlying platform.

You can use Shadowkeeper to add the missing spell (SPIN102), if you wish.

Ah... thank you for clearing that up and advising me on the correct mod install order. I don't mind if I don't get that power. Just wanted to report in case it's a bug. Glad that it's not. Thank you for the prompt reply and a great mod. :)

No clue why it's acting up, but I'm unable to install any of the PnP creature modification components.
Always displays the extremely helpful Error: Not found

UPDATE: I know that it's some sort of compatibility problem, because it works on a clean BG2 install.
Nonetheless, I'm still interested in the cause of that error message.

Besides Error: Not found there's also a problem with rr#splain.spl and the retrieval from rr#eval.2da.

Could be due to detectable spells?
http://www.shsforums...gs/#entry558337
Dunno if it's the unfortunate interplay of installing bp ds (new), questpack ds (old) and then scs ds(new) or some bug in bp, but scs threw out a read out of bounds on cddetect.spl.
Had that problem earlier and "fixed" it by deleting the screwed up cddetect.spl.

aTweaks makes an assumption (if the secondary type fl#Disease exists in msectype.2da, it exists in rr#eval.2da) that ceases to be true when (presumably) the latest version of BP is installed. The Not_found error is due to a function trying to return the value of an uninitialised variable.

Meaning, I could add it be changing the following in dsandstuff.tpa this way:

ACTION_IF FILE_CONTAINS_EVALUATED (msectype.2da fl#Disease) BEGIN
  ADD_SECTYPE fl#Disease #2449
  APPEND RR#EVAL.2da "fl#Disease %fl#Disease%"
END

BUT_ONLY

If I understood BUT_ONLY correctly, changes get only applied if they change the file in question. In this case, ADD_SECTYPE fl#Disease #2449 wouldn't get applied, but the change to RR#EVAL.2da would?

The best thing for you to do is to remove the ACTION_IFs and make the ADD_SEC_TYPEs and APPENDs unconditional. You'll get some cruft in rr#eval.2da, but it's harmless. ADD_SEC_TYPE is not cumulative.

// Add new secondary types

  ADD_SECTYPE RR#ETHER @707
  APPEND RR#EVAL.2da "RR#ETHER %RR#ETHER%"
  ADD_SECTYPE fl#Disease #2449
  APPEND RR#EVAL.2da "fl#Disease %fl#Disease%"
  ADD_SECTYPE fl#Fear @1027
  APPEND rr#eval.2da "fl#Fear %fl#Fear%"

Future versions of aTweaks will likely dispense with rr#eval entirely, but that'll take some restructuring and coordination with RR.

Just out of interest:

Do numbers for fl#disease, RR#DEATA and RR#FSCNT in rr#eval correspond to their row numbers in msectype, and if yes, what happens if they're one row off (e.g. RR#DEATA 15 in rr#eval, but row 16 in msectype)?

I meant, the first row in msectype.2da is row 0, so if you start counting from 1, you'll be off by 1.

A user over at the kerzenburg forums had some problems with Davaeorn's dimension dooring. Instead of doing his usual dimension door + fireball / lightning bolt, he only used dimension door.
After finally restoring spwi402.spl from atweaks backup folder, the problem disappeared.

A timing issue of the animation?
