Ok so I figured I'd try here.
I'm going through BG1 with DSotSC installed and I did the x-tra Firewine bridge quest (the one from Charleston Nib). But I'm a bit confused as to whether I've finished the quest or not. First of all, I just killed a bunch of creatures and took all their stuff, but I don't know if the quest is done or not...
I met Svlast before I went in, and he told me not to get involved with his fight or whatever. But when I exited the dungeon and talked to Svlast, my journal said that he survived with my help, and that I have to finish it off. But I didn't help him do anything, and I have absolutely no idea what it is that I have to finish. Is there something i'm missing here?

I think that is from BG1UB though I'm not really familiar with it - might want to try here.
