Since my SE pre-order has not yet arrived(UK version from GAME), I hadn't thought to check that. I just did and they are there. Thanks for the info. Now I'm just waiting to see if Game are going to give the sword and shield with SE. According to the DA forums, they originally decided that they did not apply to SE, but later they are rumoured to have changed stance. I've never seen a confirmation of this, so it's wait and see.

I got three tomes and the sword(for completing the demo). I want my special copy with prince Sebastian and nifty bonus items, but it's not available yet. Ah well. At least I'll have more challenge this way: scraping 70 silvers for a new backpack makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. And the dagger for two gold! Good old days. In DA:Origins it's impossible now - too many blasted bonus items.

P.S. Why-oh-why does the a night in a brothel cost MORE than a decent set of armor? Are their, ahem, organs made of gold, or something?

Chris Priestly has previously said on the social forums that the Fadeshear Sword and the Lion of Orlais Shield will be included in the Signature Edition. I guess that we'll find the unlock codes within the box itself, or that they'll automatically unlock after you've registered your copy. Therefore some retailers only offer these items for the pre-orders of the standard edition, because it obviously doesn't include them from the get-go.

I don't know if this information is still accurate, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

My special edition order has been downgraded to a regular version :( Damn lack of funds. Oh well, Sebastian was the only part of that I cared about. Won't be able to play until I get back from uni in April. Already engorged myself on spoilers, and regretting it. Poo.

Just some more stuff regarding the DA2 DRM from reclaimyourgame.

Looks like even after uninstall some securom files and registry entries may remain.

I hope the hackers will get a pill and fix that, too - no leftovers in the registry. Or maybe Bioware will do something in the next patch.

I so very much wish people figure out that registry entries and temp files (or, indeed, SecuROM) are completely harmless (unless you really need those 5 MB of hard drive space).

I think it's more of a matter of principle. Then again someone might just be a neat freak and not want uninstallation leftovers, although it's completely impossible not to have them. Personally I just do a normal uninstallation, run CCleaner, and leave it at that.

Well, OK, it's sad that they use SecuROM while denying its use in public; however, you should remember that (at least for now) the only negative thing about SecuROM is that it's been used to limit installs (a la Mass Effect / Bioshock), rather than negatively affecting your computer performance or security (like Sony BMG or Safedisk have).

I'm amazed by the amount of DLC available from the start. I haven't tried Legends, the Demo or anything really and I'm still going to get a load of stuff. Just ordered the Signature Edition back in December. There's already 5 items on my BioWare account page even though my copy won't arrive until Monday most likely.

Yeah, and I've just updated my day 1 DLC list on the previous page. BioWare Store is now offering the Antivan Garrotte belt as a purchase bonus for any order.

Has anyone read about how you can get banned from playing Bioware game if you get banned from their forums by saying ill things about their games?

http://www.rockpaper...u-out-of-games/

Hilarious! I will get banned instantly if I talk anything about DA2 in their forums. I don't know that the hell they are doing. From what I know, by releaseing DA2 demo before release, they've lost whole bunch of sales (a lot of them cancelled preorder. I almost did too). Now they are bannning people, not only from forums, but also the game as well. We are talking about single player game here, not bloody MMORPG. This is insane. So they are basically blocking their ears and yelling "LALALALALA WE ARE THE BEST AND I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING YOU SAY". I'm seriously losing hope for Bioware. I'm starting to think maybe I should not buy ME3 after all.

I do admitt, DA2 has its own merit. But let's face it. Something is wrong. The game is becoming main streamed, has lost all it's complex, rich, meaning rpg experience. Lack of banters + customisation, and heavy battle is making me sick.

Well if your flaming the game on its own OFFICIAL forums...(and by flaming I mean using harsh language - racial slurs - trolling - etc or what not about the game) you should be banned from the forums...however even though if someone did that...they still payed 60+ USD for the game and have a right to play it...but if they flame it that much would they even want to play it heh?

Old news - the same thing was being threatened during Spore's release.

Last few days have been interesting corncerning DA2, tough I doubt Bio or EA expected this kind of publicity. Funny thing, this is almost similar to events when Fallout: BOS came out and the chaos that followed in Interplay forums. I think the whole thing has been blown out of a porpotion a bit, since the guy got a temporal ban not a perma one. Then again the devil remark may have been spot on if looking back at these events. As for the game, its medicore at best, in my opinion. So I was right buying Drakensang River of Time over DA2.

Also this... apparently the ban was only supposed to affect the BioWares Social account in question, not game access.

It's interesting that the wrong word has been used throughout the entire discussion - the word 'buy' has been used. You don't 'buy' software, you license it and every single EULA states somewhere that if you break our license terms, we will withdraw access to the software. Well, in most cases that's unenforceable but not in EA's case. Tread carefully...
