Freezing while fighting greater basilisk

Edit: Yes, it's not happening when i fight the basilisk with protection from petrification on me.

I think it happens each time I fail a saving throw, but I am not sure.

It is happening on the top of Castle Daerthmac.

I am running Big World Project with a tactical install.

Make sure "Logging On=1" is set in your baldur.ini file, reproduce the crash and post the contents of baldur.err here after that.

Make sure "Logging On=1" is set in your baldur.ini file, reproduce the crash and post the contents of baldur.err here after that.



The only thing in my baldur.err file are identical lines that say ::
---------------------Start Logging Session---------------------
about 20-30 of them..


I did not have a save from the tower, but I encoutered more basilisk while fighting the Druegar, and the same crash occures there.

So... you *do* have Protection from Petrification on you or you don't? Do you have any items or spells that might reflect or bounch the petrification? If you don't and you fail the saving throw, you should die of course. Don't know why that would be causing a crash unless someone messed with the petrification spell or something.

That was what was in my baldur.err file after a crash without protection from petrification. (where it freezes)

Well, what about the other questions? Try dropping all your items and see what happens then. Could be a buggy item (or possibly buggy character, so that'd be the next thing to test).
