Nessie's a barmaid with her own dialogue. Weird she wouldn't be there. Can't think of a mod that messes with her off the top of my head.

Best thing is for you to run a changelog on NESSIE.CRE and see what you uncover.

Whoa, when did baldur.err start reporting the actual creature file? That's great if it's something TobEx added...

All I can guess is it didn't get copied from BG1 properly during conversion. If you don't know how to do a change-log, see the pinned FAQ in this forum.

Thank you for your help. This is change log of NESSIE.CRE:
[WeiDU.exe] WeiDU version 21900
[WeiDU.exe] Using scripting style "BG2"
override/NESSIE.CRE
override/NESSIE.cre BGTTweak/Backup/2400/NESSIE.cre
override/NESSIE.CRE scs/backup/5010/NESSIE.CRE
override/NESSIE.CRE scs/backup/5021/NESSIE.CRE
override/NESSIE.CRE RR/BACKUP/9/NESSIE.CRE
override/NESSIE.CRE xpmod/backup/0/NESSIE.CRE

Mods affecting NESSIE.CRE:
00000: /* from game biffs */ ~SETUP-BGT.TP2~ 0 0 // Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Core: 1.10 (28 August 10)
00001: ~SETUP-BGTTWEAK.TP2~ 0 2400 // Enemy items shatter: 9 (31 Dec 09)
00002: ~SETUP-SCS.TP2~ 0 5010 // Better calls for help: v16
00003: ~SETUP-SCS.TP2~ 0 5021 // Potions for NPCs -> One third of the potions dropped by slain enemies break and are lost: v16
00004: ~RR/SETUP-RR.TP2~ 0 9 // Revised Thievery -> Use PnP thievery potions and prevent their effects from stacking: v4.37
00005: ~SETUP-XPMOD.TP2~ 0 0 // Creature XP Reduction -> Reduce to 75%: v6 BWP Fix

I remember that during BWP installation I was asked to put disk into drive. During (or after) installing xpmod. Someone told me to check baldur.ini and there was duplicate entry for the second CD2 of BG1 in [Alias] section, it looked like this:

CD2:=C:\Games\BGII - SoA\CD2\;C:\Games\BGII - SoA\CD2\

I was told that it is OK by someone from this forum but maybe it is reason for this crash. Do you propose any solution? There are five versions of NESSIE.CRE in changelog folder, perhaps I should copy one of them somewhere and the game would find the missing file... What are your opinions?

If you copy the last file to the override and rename it to nessie.cre the game shouldn't crash (for this reason, at least).
