I didn't follow the walkthrough path to the letter which seems to be a factor in creating this bug. When I did follow the walkthrough by heading north from the wooded area that you (either through the caves, or with the help of the littl boy) arrive at, the bug didn't happen later when I tried to enter the (fort? Temple? Keep?). Having made around in there to see what it is yet...I stopped to post this after encountering a Shar preistess and running back out, happy that it allowed me to enter without the CTD this time.

When instead, I headed east from the wooded area to Althon's family's hideout house, from there proceeding to Westgate and exploring the whole town of Westgate(more on this later) after this path, I got the CTD when entering the building (not area) whose map icon looks like a fort, Keep or Stronghold though I presume it is the Temple all the folk at the docks part of Westgate are so nervous talking about (REALY would help to make sure every map area had a text label) as that is the area that appeared when I followed the walkthrough to the T, making me believe it is a temple.

I think you are trying to say that you get a CTD when entering the temple building, area TC1502. Is that correct? As far as I can tell all the creatures here have valid CRE files and animations. I didn't encounter this problem so it could have been a spawned creature which are usually random. So I may not ever see it. Okay, that gives me something to start looking for. Thanks.

Any time you get a CTD, make sure "Logging On=1" is set under Program Options in your baldur.ini file and then post the contents of baldur.err after reproducing the crash.
