Hello again,

For some reason, BW Install ignored BGT-NPCSound-WeiDU during installation. Once installation complete, the program reported that the mod was amongst the ones that were not installed. No error during the installation, just not there.

Before install began, I had to extract the BGT-NPCSound manually before installation because the setup ignored it. Once unpacked, the install program detected the mod as present. But, like I said, in the end, the mod wasn't installed according to the final report.

Is it a bug or did something change in the BGT mods regarding the NPC Sounds?

Elsewhere, the "Improved Golems" component of Sword Coast Stratagems II failed to install due to an error. I don't really care about this specific component, but it's still an issue to be solved for people who actually really want it.

Attached are my WeiDU log and any file that might be useful to investigate the matter. If more is needed, just ask. I have no Debug files for BGT-NPCSound.

Thanks.

Update: I've been checking for references for BGT-NPCSound-WeiDU in various places: though mentioned in the BiG World .pdf, it does not appear in the mod chapters.

My install is in English only. According to the Kerzenburg links site for BWP, the NPCSound mod isn't available in English, so that could explain why it wasn't installed.

What puzzles me about this, though, is that in my attempts with the previous version of BWP (9.6 or 9.7), I had the mod in my list and in my downloads, it unpacked and detected it without problem, and it had been installed with the other mods, though I had selected the "English only" option both during setup and at the start of the install.

So now I have 2 questions:

- What changed?

But more importantly:

- Do I need it in my install? - or - Is it useful in an English only install and can I use it?

Thanks again.

ERROR: [hamm09.itm] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Failure("hamm09.itm: read out of bounds"))
Stopping installation because of error.

The sound-package is for German versions only.
The package also was not installed if you don't have selected "German" at the beginning and was left out of the report. I'm too lazy to look for some fixed errors, but the previous download was unnecessary.

Since the batch for displaying mods was adjusted, now it'll look for all setups that exist in your folder and if some component has been installed. So you dropped in the mod, it
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought (and hoped for).
