Cuchoinneach dog is annoying!

I have big world installed plus a few of the bg1 mods right now. Just added Cuchoinneach to my party, and his dog goes absolutely ape**** with entangle spells during every battle. It's so annoying that I tried to kill the dog, but he just re-spawned immediately. Is there a fix/patch for this?

If a party member casts an area spell like Entangle, the dog probably regards it as a personal attack. It can be fixed in the script - I put a similar fix in for Haiass, but someone would have to look at whichever script CuChoinneach's dog uses. Too bad erebusant isn't still around... even CuChoinneach himself was recently but only briefly.
