Alright I recently installed some Imoen romance mod, and until this had been installed I'd not experienced this problem, I also installed the Nalia's conversion from thief/mage to mage/thief without starting up in between so there is a possibility there as well. The problem is, randomly throughout the game the inventory of my main character starts getting non-existing items replaced with broken weapons. It seems to occur most of the time, when my main character is looting gnolls or ogres with rings, although it has happened once while gathering a wolf pelt, and other times when inventory isn't even open. And it continues until you reload from an old save, quicksaving and reloading will not fix it. Anyway here's a copy of the WeiDU.log and thanks in advance. Oh and I'm playing the Baldur's Gate I portion of the game.

Does it still happen when you uninstall the Nalia mod? You might need to start a new game if you're experiencing some sort of saved game corruption.

Well as far as being corrupted if I save the game and reload while this is happening the save will load, so I don't really think it is corrupted, just something triggering some loop of code or something I have no idea what I'm talking about. So far I've uninstalled the Nalia mod and it seems to be working, which is good, and I'll put up a definite answer soon enough. Thanks for the reply.

EDIT: Uh yeah, it just happened again, so I'm not really sure what to do now. I figure the next step might just be uninstalling all the games? Ouch.

Well, that is odd. You really shouldn't be getting broken items at all, especially since you have this component:

~SETUP-BGTTWEAK.TP2~ #0 #16 // Remove item shattering

Are there circumstances under which you can reproduce the broken item flooding, or is it just at random?

You might try starting a new game and see if it still happens. If so, at least you've ruled out corruption with the particular save you're using.

BGT Tweaks and BG2 Tweaks should be stable, though maybe there's some obscure conflict happening between components. I'm not familiar with Longer Road but I think it's been around a while too.

I reinstalled the works, and made some measures to more easily reinstall the game in the future, should such bugs happen, thanks to some of the pinned threads above. Hopefully this takes care of my problem, I'm going without the tweak pack for now, as I'm uncertain of its compatibility with weidu, especially installing it post weidu. And we'll see how things work out. Anyway thanks for the support, and as far as the circumstances go. I've tried to pinpoint them, but it truly appears to be random. The items that are being taken from the inventory do not exist, real items are not breaking. It just does the remove item item gained over and over filling the inventory endlessly with broken items. Perhaps a reinstall of that specific tweak might have done it, but I'll keep that in note for the future. Thanks again.

BG2 Tweaks is certainly WeiDU compatible. I'd assume BGT Tweaks is too.

Are you playing a shapeshifter by chance? You might want to do without the Shapeshifter Rebalancing component as I've read it has some quirks (by design, due to engine limitations).

Actually I've never played a shapeshifter in my life. I just thought that component was cool =P I'll eliminate that from the reinstall, thanks for the advice.
