I believe that's how it's supposed to be - rangers get all druid spells whenever they get to the right levels.

It's a bug. You should not be able to pick Druid spells with your Cleric slots.

In pnp D&D, you'd get more spells at a higher level (Ranger + Cleric), but you would never have access to Druid spells over level 3.

But cleric and druid spells use the same "slots" (i.e., the "priest" spellbook).

It's a bug. You should not be able to pick Druid spells with your Cleric slots. In pnp D&D,

That doesn't matter, as Baldur's Gates use 2e AD&D rules. So it's not a bug.

I know BG uses AD&D 2e rules. That's exactly what I'm referring to.

A C/R in AD&D 2e should not be picking up druid spells until he gets them through his Ranger class. And those max out at level 3 IIRC.

Basically, a C/R should cast Druid spells just as well as Minsc does, and that's it.
