Many of my files in the data folder have a '25' in front of them, which makes it so that programs like Near Infinity can not access them. What is the point of this 25 and can I remove it?

These are usually for ToB-specific files but I don't know why NI wouldn't be able to get at them on Linux (have Linux but don't run IE on it). I wouldn't remove it but someone else may have a solution (if not here then try forums.gibberlings3.net).

Linux uses a case-sensitive file system, so NI may not be finding baldur.exe and BGConfig.exe (NI looks for them to determine if you have TOB). I guess you can try different capitalization, or look in the source on SourceForge.

There's a diff that might help. It's like three years old but was never merged because FSR (the guy who inherited development of NI) disappeared roughly two weeks after appearing.
