Hey all Im new to the forums but ive been playing Baldurs Gate 2 for a long time. I just got a new laptop a couple of months ago and im having a problem doing a full install of BG 2.
specs:
TOSHIBA Satellite L355D
AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72 2.10 Ghz
3 Gb RAM
32-Bit mode
250 GB HD
ADI Radeon 3100 Graphics Card
Everytime i try to do a full installation, i get about 46% into the install and then i get hit with a "cyclic redundancy check" error. ive installed this game more times than i can remember and ive never gotten this error before. Can anyone help me??? Thanks.

Cyclic redundancy probably indicates a defect in your game disks, or possibly your hard drive (yes, new computers can ship with bad drives 
). You may be able to tell by looking at your disks if they're scratched. Either way, you should be able to do a scandisk on both the CD/DVD drive and the hard drive to check for errors.
