That was a really nice mini-story Highpressure, what program did you use to put those screenshots together?

I used the photomerge tool inside Adobe Bridge. (Photoshop CS2)

highpressure - a comic! Loved it, of course - your character is so unique, and the lighting is always perfect in your shots. My only disappointment was that the ogre's head didn't go flying off!

Thanks for the kind words. It's really too bad that you can't decap, or slice in half any creatures in the game using Deadly Relflex mod. If you could, oh boy...talk about buckets of blood!

Well, coming from you hp, the undisputed master of slideshow making, is really nice to hear! Using Hector's screenies was a lot of fun because I actually went through all his stories and posts again to select what I thought were some of his very best shots. I have been wanting to use that song by Garbage for a while, but since I usually play gals, I never found a way to do so.
I have noticed that Flash SlideShow Maker is buggy once you get over 15 (?) screens - so I do a lot of saves! I also notice a lot of bloating - that swf file is 15 MB even though I downsized all of Hector's shots to 150K each. So that and the music should not have exceed more than 8MB. Got any idea as to what causes this?
How does your latest slide show maker behave? Is it a free one?
Btw, hp your Adonis character looks amazing! I love this shot.

Regarding the latest slide show program I use... yes, it is free from Comcast. The only thing I don't like is that it will not upload, if I use personal mp3's. It will only allow the music that comes with it. You can use your own mp3's if you're just going to view the show on your PC. But if uploading it to your photo Circle Site it won't work. There is the option to export to HTML, but I don't know how to transfer that to my website.

Now what I found using Flash SlideShow Maker is that saving the swf at a 1280 X 1024 setting will cause some file bloating regardless of the resolution of your screens. What I started doing with that program is saving my show at 800 X 600, which greatly reduced the file size. I know you like the full screen setting, I do as well, but reducing the size of the screen resolution in this program, is the only way that I've found to reduce the total size of the file.

Does anyone know how to get that burst attack mod going in game?

Well it took a bit but I just got it working.

First I installed the mod and activated both parts (still have no idea what the second part does) anyway, then i game i typed startquest efginitialize and i got a new spell.

When I cast it it started a counter showing how much charge i had. The way to charge the thing is to inflict damage (a lot of it) so I started shooting the guards with flare in the imperial city arena area and when it hit 15-17% (I wasn't looking at the number) I was telaported to a special arena match against
"A bearded man" who cheats, (he uses a 2 handed hammer with a shield) he also switches between weapons alot.

Anyway once the charge got up to 100% I cast the spell i got from starting the quest and punched him (kinda by accedent) and he was blown away from me and I turned invisible. It seems that different attacks do cause different burst spells though i am still trying to figure this one out.

Edit: good news, with a bit more testing i have found that different types of attack require different weapons and skills to use. Im not quite sure of the skill level (I cheated my destruction, mysticism, and alteration to 100) but i know for the magic attacks you need to be using a staff. You also get different effects based on how your moving. Below are the pictures of the ones I have been able to do so far.

I've been trying to see the effects with this mod while using a sword. When the charge hits 100, a Hit counter appears. Not quite sure of the effects yet.

@ highpressure - LOL How did you get her horse in there? Those opponents had no chance

Very simple = console open (select the horse), then go to the arena, start battle, open console and type moveto player

Type the command when you get to the gate. That way you can get on your horse before the gate drops. Yeah, the npc's are at a great disadvantage, but what the hell, they were going to die anyway!


Great screens everyone. I would make individual comments, but there are so many great screens. I have to mention the new animations, they look great! As always, I have viewed the screens multiple times, and all I can say is that they are all awesome shots! Keep up the great work!

High Pressure: How does the mounted combat work out for you so far. I really thought about getting combat reflexes but never really had enough interest to persue it, but the mounted combat is definitely making me want to try it out. Has it given you any problems?

Works great for me so far. At first, I didn't quite get it, but once I figured it out, it's been fun playing around with it.

what armor is that?

It's one of growlf's armors that was Exnemized. The undies are the EXNEMS WEARABLE UNDIES. I just swapped the texture on a pair to match the armor.

Hmm I had no trouble getting it it, I headed over the the ruins, cleared the first level, went down to the next level and their was the Night of Nox, some assassins and the other type all hanging around. As far as I know their is only one version.

Yep keep looking GF1. I missed them at first myself. I had to retrace my steps, and realized that there was an area I didn't investigate. Then I ran into about 5 nasties with the armor!
