How do I open this locked door in Sith Academy on Korriban without destroying the holocron inside?

It always breaks unless you declared (in the discussion with Atton on Peragus) that Revan was Dark Side Male. Then you get a message from one of the KotOR 1 characters.

you also get the same message, with "she" instead of "he" if revan was darkside female...

if u r talking about the door with all thies locks on it u get thies exsposevs in one of the doors in the middle of the acadamy if u didnt find the data pad that opens the door to the exsplosevs. (hint) dont bash the chest or u will blow ur self to hell.

I found that out the hard way

:^^: well this is going to be hard but u have to start over again when u meet atton on perogus u have to tell atton that reven was a guy and turned to the dark side.
