Yeah, I agree that the ending is much criticized without real reason as it is the 2nd part of a trilogy, like you said. Although, I would have liked to see the NPC vs. NPC scenes on Malachor V and other cut content, that's why I'm looking forward to the restoration pack. As for KotOR III, you're right about it not likely coming out this year at all, since we've seen what a disaster KotOR II was when done in a rush, so I doubt Lucas Arts is going to pull that off again. I'd bet 2007 as well. Yea, delaying games is annoying, I admit, but can lead to very positive results, which is why I don't complain when Bethesda delayed TES IV: Oblivion to this year... it won't be long anyway until it's out. ^_^

Yep. Although KotOR II was a disappointement to me, I can still understand if it wasn't the best ever if there is going to be a third KotOR. But Sith Lords was a fine example why it would be good not to release games too early - I'm sure it would not have had so many loose ends and would not have let me with the "huh? that's it?" -feeling, if there would have been only a few more scenes with the NPC's, for example, towards the end.

So same here, doesn't bug me if Oblivion is delayed. It just guarantees that I won't be disappointed - I loved Morrowind, so it'd be nasty if I'd hate Oblivion. :D Hope they realise the same thing with KotOR3 - though I agree with others here, I can't see it coming out before spring 2007. Not this year, ever, or there would have already been betas or screencaps and hype and all. It doesn't even have a name yet!

Yeah, if only Lucas Arts can keep from pushing the release, it'll work with Obsidian's talented peeps. Yea, I was a bit worried about Oblivion since it seemed too console to me at first, but I think it'll be fine, at least now, since it's being polished and optimized and I've seen the videos. And most importantly, I have a PC capable of runnning it well. B) ;)

Speaking of this modder powered resto pack: http://www.team-gizka.org/. And, yes, I'm also looking forward to NWN 2, as it should be coming out for the summer holiday time.

Thnx, one of the things I greatly missed from the game was the HK Factory (esp after being teased by talking to HK-47)

Yea, it's certainly a new game for me once they finish that pack. But, to get back to the topic, I think KotOR III is most probably a title for 2007, as there's no information available right now. I'll update this when they announce something.

Many people have said that Master Vandar died on Katarr with Zhar and Dorak but they never mentioned his name....so maybe he's still alive somewhere??? it is possible, maybe he's shaking up with with someone on Dagobah making the wise Master Yoda...lol....but seriously i've played through it countless times and even though many say he's dead they never actually confirm it in the game so maybe just maybe they could bring him back for the third??? but i'll probley forget about KOTOR for a while and look more to my all time favorite games....the Max Payne series and the preperation for the third(the writing in the games is the best game writing ever), then when they actually annonce the sequal i'll come back and get interested in it again for now though i'm done with the KOTOR series and i guess i'll hear from you all in about a year or so.....auf wiedersehen

They say he went to Katarr. So I'm pretty sure that means he got killed along with the planet and every living thing on it (minus Visas).

Anyhow, I've seen enough "super lightside" wrinkled elves. It'd be nice if, in KotOR 3, when fighting against the Sith Empire, you see one of that race as a sith lord, all pale and stuff, or a half-mechanical man thats a lightside master (as opposed to Malak trying to be a Vader ripoff)

I'd bet if they included one of the Yoda-kin there, they'd have to explain what the race is called and where do they live (besides swamps, obviously ;) ), but they really can't do that without dispelling the mysticism...
