Big problem with Worldmap

Hi guys, i wonder if you could help me.I want to play all the big mods of BG in BGT.So i installed them in the correct order
1)Shadows over Soubar 2)Check the Bodies 3)Baldur Gate Trilogy 4)The Big Picture 5)Worldmap
Problem was after i check worldmap i got this error
"An Assertion failed in InfWorldMap.cpp at line 2120"
So just for testing purposes i made a clean install again(BG+expansion+patch;BG2+expansion+patch)and only installed Baldur Gate Trilogy and later Worldmap and i got exactly the same error.Im using the last version of BGT and Worldmap.halp!

Q1) Did you start a new game, as the old one doesn't have the same world map?
Q2) Could you open up the WeiDU.log with whatever text editor and copy paste the content?

Yes, i started a new game, problem happens when i check the ingame worldmap(either Bg1 or BG2) and i get that "error 2120" even with only BGT and Worldmap installed :crying:

So where are the 1)Shadows over Soubar 2)Check the Bodies before the BGT?

They need to be the Weidu versions, you know!

That might have something to do with not having the BP mods. By the way you'll need this. And perhaps this.

Yes, both are Weidu versions, and got them from the same link you posted!
Now i tried with a clean install again, but only with Shadows over Soubar first and Worldmap installed after(no BGT), and got exactly the same error as before: An Assertion failed in InfWorldMap.cpp at line 2120 <_<

Maybe it's the same thing here, you only have one mod installed, as opposed to what the intention is to have at least two or one BP mod and BGT, so the mod doesn't know which worldmap.cpp to import. Or your BP-BGT-WORLDMAP mod might have corrupted while downloading.

Check what the SETUP-BP-BGT-WORLDMAP.DEBUG says about the .cpp, and maybe copy paste it here. Then weigo or erebusant can definitely say what's might be wrong.

ok, im gonna reinstall Bg2 with BGT and BP, and after Worldmap and edit with what that file says.thanks for the help btw

Would suggest you to install the Shadows over Soubar, Check the Bodies, Baldur Gate Trilogy and BP-BGT-WORLDMAP, so later you can uninstall the last one and install the BP and the patches and BP-BGT-WORLDMAP, as you don't need these two patches yet.

By the way you'll need this. And perhaps this.

But of course it could work with your install, so give us the debug file info so we can help.

I tried Worldmap version 5 to check and got the same problem again, what am i doing wrong?

You need to select and install either the Original or Revised travel times components (Setup #2 or #3 should be in your WeiDU log)

i wish i could install it(the revised worldmap installation part), i also thought that was what im missing but the problem is(im sorry to be so anoying) that if i try to install original area visivility the installation stops right there, it doesnt copy any files or anything.And if i install the other one(revised) it starts copying files and at some point it stops and doesnt continue from there, i left it for an hour, because maybe it was installing,but nothing changed

Try to install G3 BG2 fixpack v6 first and then install all the other mods. maybe this will help solve your problem.

Actually, since you're not that far into the install, totally uninstall BGII-SoA & ToB, and wipe out the directory completely so there is no reference to it anywhere, and then re-install in this order:
BGII-SoA + ToB + 26498 Patch + BG2Fixpack v6 + BGTv1.05b + BGTv105b Patch (found on the BGT forum) + SoS v1.12+ CtB v1.9 + TS-BP v6.10 + BP-BGT WM 6.6.1 using the consolidated patch on the Worldmap forum.

Be certain to re-extract the mods from the .rar archives. Don't try to re-use anything. It should work for you.

That might be an indication that either of your original world maps might be corrupted, did you try to play both of the games? As you should every time you install them, to make sure they are clean.

I made a clean installation in the exact order you said erebusant,without any problems until i had to install "revised and original" installation part in Worldmap mod, it stucks in both options and i cant make it to install.
If the problem is that im missing that then is there another way to install it without weidu?
Jarno, ingame worldmap works fine, no corrupted files or anything.

I made a clean installation in the exact order you said erebusant,without any problems until i had to install "revised and original" installation part in Worldmap mod, it stucks in both options and i cant make it to install.
If the problem is that im missing that then is there another way to install it without weidu?
Jarno, ingame worldmap works fine, no corrupted files or anything.

What exactly do you mean by "it stucks in both options" ? Does it give you the option to select 1 or 2? Do you have a file in your main BGII-SoA directory called WeiDU.lock? If you do try deleting that and re-installing your Worldmap.

It takes a village...

By stuck i mean it shows me those options, and if i try to install either of them, installation doesnt complete, but i CAN complete worldmap installation if i skip that part
already deleted weidu.log, nothing changed :(
If i try original area visibility..

Is there a way to get worldmap mod without installing it in weidu?maybe someone can share the files to copy/overwrite?
I want to play this mods, im runing out of hope :P
