Thanks to permissions from Ascension64 and jcompton I am at merging the BGT and Tutu versions of Lure of Sirine's Call. Originally I planned taking the original Tutu version and integrating BGT compatibility (using the cross-platform coding). Now I took a close look at the BGT version and what do I see! There are more languages (and the revision of the German translation is very nice and was rather necessary, indeed). All in all, Lure of the Sirine's Call 7.3 BGT seems to be a well supported and developped mod. This is awesome! So now I am at making the BGT version compatible with Tutu, not the other way around. The Tutu players will be grateful for the work you put into this, Ascension64!

I'll keep you posted with updates; currently work goes slow due to RL working load.


I have a question to the translations: In the Tutu version, there is also a Spanish version, but no credit is given. Could someone capable of the language (better than me..) have a look and tell me which tranlsation should have priority in a merged install? I'd favour the BGT-spanish version from Immortality.

Please do PM Immortality. It is likely that she, and perhaps Ghildrean and others at ClanDLAN.net made the Castilian translation.

MM75, don't worry, Ajantis is not delayed for this - I need some coding work from time to time between all this translating. Thank you very much for the enthousiasm, though. :)

I have a question: Was the sound patching for the mod creatures of the Tutu mod introduced in a later version or did you take it out for the BGT version?

Oh well, i was joking Jastey. Of course u can do whatever u like :cheers:

But yes, i'm eager to see the mod ... and moreover i'm just waiting to play another game (unfortunately i stopped playing right now until i've finished the new bgt spawn system) until i can play the same Ajantis from BG1 to end of Throne of Bhaal.

I think I hard-coded the sounds into the CREs, since it was obvious that they were tra-ified.

Hi,
the merging of the Tutu and the BGT version is done. If anyone feels like tesing it I would be very grateful. On my Tutu-install, it works fine:

EDIT: Link taken out because of BGT-install error. Will be replaced with v8 pre 4 soon.

Changes to BGT-Version 7.3 are:

-Ardrouine remains standing after the end of the quest
-Bug wconcerning enemy / neutral allegiance of sirenes fixed.

Update:

SirinesCall_v8_pre10.zip (1,4 MB)

The new version addresses all reported issues. I would be glad if someone would test it and say whether there are any more suggestions.

Version 8 is out. Thank you, Ascension64, for already including the link into the BGT-modlist! Thank you again for granting me permission to use the BGT version for the merging.

Also thank you for already adding the link for the Ajantis BG1 mod!
