Well... for the first time in almost three years I TOOK THE TIME to create a new character in BG1... played through a bit and imported into BG2. I have been playing BG2 again for the first real time in almost three years... and I have to say that I had forgotten just what a great game it is.

So, with that in mind, I can say that my interest in the project is gaining momentum again. I still have little free time, but it feels more like fun again to think about RTW... instead of a boring chore:D So you might say I got my divine intervention. I work and think on RTW as time permits.

We got a new important build and (at least for me) a clearer view of what's in and what's missing.
Also, giving it a quick go again, I've been blown away by the sheer amazingness of this mod (I just had forgotten, somehow...).
We just can't let it rest unreleased.

So yes, we're busy again, but no release date this time.
The coding is difficult, slow and "painful", and I personally wouldn't want to get "bored" again. We'll try to progress calmly, but costantly. :thumb:

I'd block Littiz's posts if I were you, he depresses even me. I'm going to have to agree with Guest, certain people need to stop being such damn drama queens and pull themselves together.

It'll be finished, even if I have to piece the last bits together alone.

Glad to see you guys are still working on it. How long has it been? Half a decade? At any rate, good luck. I hope you can finish it before Dragon Age comes out.

IIRC work started in late 2001 / early 2002, so it's more like three years and an half. A third of a decade :P

Does anybody know how much progress has been made recently.
I would really like to see this mod completed before I graduate high school and I am probably forced away from my computer.

The new build holds some updates but we can do better in the next one (we need to correct a few issues/triggers to unlock a lot of "new" stuff). After that, I'll gently ask Cuv to actually grab those new screenshots.

However, I just correctect a minor (engine-related) bug and `unlocked' ~20kb of .tra and ~200 kb of .d, so there could still be hope :new_thumbs:

Yep, we should post some screenies somewhen in this September, after all.

Expect some shiny things :)

And after we've convinced the audience that It's Worth It, we'll ask for a bit of additional help with the coding part ^_^

You (or whoever ends up taking them) haven't uploaded them yet, so you should wait a little before saying you can respect a deadline :ROFL:
Remember what happened to your 'Refinements v2 will be ready before the end of February' prevision? You were off by a good month as we ended by the 20 of March :D
it should be noted, though, that it was mostly my fault, but nevermind, Littiz is a hopeless optimistic anyhow
