Tali, Thane and Garrus? I can see a few potential problems already...

Trying to be serious though, there are more than I expected. I don't really know what I'm going to do. I suspect my Shepard'll end up cheating on Ash. I guess I'll just try all the possibilities, since I kinda did that with ME1.

I won't be able to pick up my preordered copy until Friday, but I'm interested in trying the Tali romance. Although, the list of romance options includes some that I'm disturbed are even on there - Thane is a salamander, and Garrus is a bird with a metallic exoskeleton (seriously - look up turian physiology in the Codex). Here's hoping for my sanity that Bioware is finally stepping away from their romance = sex at the end theme...

"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

All I know is that I'm not clicking any unverified YouTube links featuring Garrus or Thane. *shudder*

I'm rather curious what effects your actions in ME1 are going to have... I've seen the list being bandied about, but it doesn't mention whether completing Tali's quest in ME1 is going to have any effect. Considering how major a character she is in ME2, I'd be pretty surprised if it made no difference that you help her complete her pilgrimage.

I don't know about Tali, but Wrex's death or survival plays a rather large part in one portion of ME2.

Pfft you guys have problems with Thane and Garrus, imagine if Grunt was romanceable...

On second thought, maybe don`t imagine.

By the way, there`s talks of a human thief (whatever that means, Infiltrator maybe?) named Kasumi being an upcoming DLC companion. I just hope it`s not as half-assed as Zaeed and she actually has on-ship conversations.

There's been some talk of Kasumi, but that's all it is so far. I've heard that the devs will return to the subject later on, presumably after they've gotten past the initial launch chaos and the problems it created.

I'll report back on this when there's something more tangible to post.

Woo, only just checked this and yay at the Garrus romance! I do wonder how two rather different species will be able to get it on but, well, I always had a soft spot for Garrus.

Ok, as promised earlier, my post on Kasumi (first post also updated):

BioWare has announced the game's first pack of paid downloadable content. "Kasumi's Stolen Memory" finally completes Commander Shepard's dirty dozen, adding a confident female thief to your anti-Reaper repertoire. It's currently scheduled to launch for Xbox 360 and PC on April 6.

So Zaeed's free but Kasumi isn't? Nice one, Bioware...

I guess that's part of the reason why they set the release day so far ahead.

Kasumi is alright but I can't help but think she was taken from star wars. :P

The loyalty mission was the best, seeing an old foe and many other things like a certain creature from dragon age.

The downside is she is another zaeed on the ship.

Yeah, it bugs me that the devs contradict themselves by making two companions behave so differently dialogue-wise (from the rest).
