Holy crap, that's a new one. Never heard of that before, and no idea what could cause it. Did you have my mods installed? And can you be more specific about when it started - like, was it during the Pillar conversation or something?

This just happened to me too.

I just got back to Curst (destroyed) and I was fighting the Demon of Moridor's Box.

I think it occured right after I killed him, I noticed that Morte, Annah and Vhailor started hiccuping... and they wont stop!

I thought maybe it was because they might have died during the fight, but Morte stayed alive while I had to ressurect Annah, Vhailor and Dak'kon (who doesn't have hiccups).

I tried killing them again and raising them but that didn't help. I tried casting remove curse (although it doesn't say anything about them having any negative status effects on their character sheet.

I also tried booting Vhailor from my party, zoning out and coming back but he still has hiccups.

I probably should have just loaded an earlier save but I really don't want to have to go through all that again. I'm just about to enter the Fortress of Regrets and they still... wont... stop... HICCUPING :(

Hey, it just happened to me too after (immediately after) another big boss fight (Trias).

Annah and I are both hiccuping. Don't know why.

I cast all kinds of spells during the battle and my wild imagination informs me that these are related.

Some of the spells I cast were buffs, including "Luck". Perhaps like "Strength" and "Improved Strength", "Luck" also has opposite effects in Carceri and decreases the luck variable? I cast luck 3 times with "Enoll Eva's Duplication", so, really, 6 times the luck... perhaps I cursed us by dropping our luck below some threshold? Or maybe just a corrupt file? Either way, gotta go back and fight him again...

OK. I was way wrong.

Went back, fought Trias again WITHOUT using "Luck" and STILL got hiccups, but this time it was just Morte that got them.

Went back, fought Trias again, but this time without using "Luck" OR "Mechanus' Cannon" and this time no hiccups.

I excluded "Mechanus' Cannon" on the hunch that its cutscene might have introduced enough complexity, that a weird error like hiccups could be introduced. Still don't know if my hunch was right, but maybe this could help cure some one else's hiccups.
