Hello,

I am preparing a BWP install including both IA and aTweaks. I see in the Readme that IA has improved aTweaks compatibility, but no more details. I would like to know what steps are taken if both mods are installed, and notably if the following cosmetic components are already included in IA in some form or another :

Give Shambling Mounds their proper soundset
Give Mariliths their Icewind Dale soundset
Distinctive creature coloring

Will aTweaks still provide some additional content compared to IA, or can I safely skip those ?

Cheers,
Fred

It will. For more information have a look at the readme of atweaks. If you want to find out which components are not duplicated in another mod read page 176 of the Big World 9.2 english.pdf.

I suppose the aTweaks Marilith component is not strictly necessary, but it doesn't hurt either. IA has 3 different marilith animations, all with unique soundsets (one of which is from IWD, like aTweaks). The others provide content that IA doesn't. In the case of Distinctive Creature Colouring, IA will remove it for some creatures where it provides unique animations (nabassus, pit fiends, etc.). However, it will remain on creatures for which there aren't specific animations yet, like giant trolls, greater mummies, mephits, etc.

PnP Free Action * Thrown Hammers * Unique Containers * BG:EE * BGII:EE * IWD:EE
