Hi there. Great mod. Just made Baldurs Gate playable again.

However, I've been replaying BG1 for a while now, with a character with proficiency in Katana, without finding any of the weapon types introduced in BG2. Are there none in the BG1 part of Trilogy, or is it just that I have not found the merchants selling them yet? If there are none, there is really no point in putting skill points into those weapon skills, I assume?

In "vanilla" BGT there are none, but there are some tweaks that will add them to the game. I think BG2Tweaks and BGTTweaks both add some exotic weapons to the game. Don't expect to find magic version of those anyway. :(
All of the above must be considered totally IMHO.

Well, you need to install one of the BGT Tweaks components to get few +1 weapons from Taemon the Blacksmith in Berecost...

Well, a wooden practice weapon is not the same as a real weapon.

Deactivated account. The user today is known as The Imp.
