#301399 Comments about PoOC thread #7

Alright, time to give this comment thread a spin!

@Luchaire: Like the character and her trenchcoat. The shots during the sunset and the night (with the overhanging moon) are especially atmospheric.

@Daiyoukai Ramza: I have such a weakness for seraphs, so it's only natural that I like your character! And you managed to depict him in so many badass scenes, the hand-to-hand ones are especially nice. Very frenetic looking!

@VanQa
: Nice to see some standalone close-ups of Gwen for once. And that shot of the chapel is really good (nice "accident"); I didn't think it was a screenshot at first.

@Floydian1: Excellent shots. The pictures featuring all the Dremora lined up in their formations just kick ass beyond all reason, that Daedric mask looks cool, and the dresses are pretty. Nice to see some more conservative clothes for once. Ah yes, and that dragon comin' through the gate is awe-inspiring.

@Yorkmaster
: Ah, that first shot with the glowing light door behind him is very nice. Shame you forgot to remove the UI.

@ghostruler: Very colorful shots you've got there, and nice scenery.

@LprMan: What was this about sucking at action shots? The one with the giant rat is cool enough. But the real show-stealers you've presented are the silhouette pics. They really help bring a dangerous, claustrophobic feeling to the scenes.

@Karandras: Oooh, those treetop pics are great. I really like the one of the dragon being obscured by the foliage. I've tried to capture that sort of feeling, and always turned up short. Aside from that, anything involving lightning spells are always great.

@Spike4072: White skin and red eyes does look good, and that ice elf (or perhaps, a rare Falmer, Snow elf) looks so cute.

@Hector the Hooded
: The tattoo's looking better and better. Though is it intended to stand out from all the other, ah, markings on his skin?

@highpressure
: Nice action scenes, and comic book goodness. Could try adding a bit more variety to the sound effects, though, and make them easier to see against the background.

And while we're at it, no, I can't get into the archives while logged in either.  :unsure:

WOW, oldmanpoo excellent scenery shots, especially the ones of Paradise. There's something so eye-catching about those flowers. And this one, with the goblins on the move is cool, even if it is a little out of place in this collection. They actually look really neat if you stop trying to kill them and think about it.

@SeV
: Avy's looking good, I like the bluish tint she takes on in the darkness. This shot seems to have a bit too much blur in the background, though it does help emphasize the cool patterns on her clothes and sword sheathe.

@AlienSlof
: Basil's a real pimp. Man, woman, mortal, immortal, undead, he's got 'em all!

@Highpressure
: Ah, son of a submarine, more dragon armors to choose from? I've already explained how hard it is to try and decide on which type of dragon to use. Decisions never end. Like this one, with it standing on the ground, especially the way the sun reflects off its helmet.

@Hector the Hooded
: I always thought IG Hector was a pimp, now it's been confirmed. The texture of the suit and cane are quite classy, by the way. The shots with the light beaming down are neat, and make me chuckle; makes him look all heroic, even when he's not quite dressed like one yet.

@JazzJR: Always got such a neat-looking Khajiit character, always looking so innocent with those large, glowing eyes...by the way, this sword fight is really nice.

@Darziak: Ah, c'mon, those transparent, ghostly spectres are very photogenic, assuming they actually appear in the picture. :whistling:

@cyborakadjmoose: Looking at the moons never gets old, and the night suits Korreen quite well.

@Flucidity: The redone tattoos look really nice, now you just need to work on your juggling. Then you're sure to impress Sheogorath!

Layla - opens the door...WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gf1, EXPLAIN THIS TO ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha, ha, her expression and pose is priceless there! You blew it, man, you really blew it! ^_~

@Luchaire: Suni's lookin' good there, training in some very pretty woodland.

@Floydian: Heh heh heh! Fire! Fire! Yeah! Flame that ogre! Very awesome pics there, that armored dragon just kicks so much ass.

@Ryu Doppler
: Those are some very beautiful shots, especially the moment of reflection one.

@lemonio
: Wow! Those shots towards the end, with the gate and energy shooting out of the character are superb! Really kinetic and powerful looking!

@SeV: Thanks for your comment, and thanks for sharing the slideshow. It was well put together, had smooth transitions, had a great variety of good-looking shots, and an easy-on-the-ears song to go with it. It just ended a bit too abruptly.

Whew, I've got a lot of catching up to do!

@Alexander Wolf: Those were some brilliant shots of the castle, and the snow added an atmospheric touch. And that cloak your character wears is really nifty, and seems to add a touch of mystery to her.

@cyborgakadjmoose
: I love Korreen's character design! The armor looks really good on her, and the damaged eye is an excellent touch. She looks like a real badass!

@VanQa
: Ah, that wide shot of Cloud Ruler Temple is astounding

@Floydian1: Those cosmic shots of Sia rock. really show the demonic, supernatural side of her. What is that background? The Shivering Isles' night sky?

@Hector the Hooded: No, you are not the only one to have that hitchhiking skeleton. I have no idea where it came from (Warcry?), though it does crack me up. As for the retextured Nina, it's not a really good picture to try and see how she looks. Need some better closeups, proper lighting, and maybe side-by-side comparisons. And uh, in the later pic, looks like she needs to see a doctor; I don't like where that arrow is sticking. :whistling:

@Darziak: That shot with Godric zapping the guy with red electricity looks cool. It is that from a mod, or is it edited?

@SeV
: That character you've been displaying, Avalon, looks great. You manage to capture a lot of emotion in her (or is it the large eyes?), and the Dwemer goggles add an interesting touch to her design. And what's that sword she's wielding in the later pics, it looks really good.

@Daiyoukai Ramza: A shot of an angel riding a dragon into the sunset with a view of the hills and valleys spreading miles all around below. What's not to like about it?

@Ryu Doppler
: Ah, that first shot featuring the night sky is beautiful. The action shots aren't too shabby wither. I like the ones with the guy fighting the lich amidst the bright light of its spell, and the one of the whole gang battling their way through the undead is intense.

@Die 75: The lighting of those interior shots is amazing! They possess a very warm glow, as if emanating from the fire.

@oldmanpoo: Okay. The character looks cool, his robes look cool, and the composition of his undead posse reeks of cool. I like how they're all up in formation, with Liches up front, skeletons in the back, and wraiths just behind him. This guy's ready to plunge the world in darkness!

@Luchaire: That new girl, Suni, is amazing! It's the first successful human Asian woman I've seen someone make!

Wow, Floydian1! Just when you couldn't decide what kind of dragon to use, now some armor comes out! Looks neat, and the views are fantastic!

@MystykStar: Lovely shot of the chapel. I'm really a sucker for those night sky shots.

@Kimory: Hmmm, I would say the first one is the best. Seems to better match the color of her wings.

@Van Stahlriven: Your character looks very good, especially in the new pic. A mine's a rather strange place to read a book, though it hasn't stopped me before. :whistling:

@Floydian1: Oh man, I can't believe I overlooked this and this, considering how good they are together. They have very contrasting lighting and color schemes, the first one being very warm, while the second is notably cooler. They do an incredible job portraying how different (and good) a character can look in different lights, and this red one (which looks really neat and eerie) continues that trend. You've got some cool action pics with the giants as well, and they made me chuckle a little. That's the way you kill them: cut off their...motivation, and burninate them with dragon fire!

@Daiyoukai Ramza: Ah, much better action shots, can really pick up the details. good job showing how opposite they are on the spectrum (gotta' love tda's Armory). Staggering Force, with its over-the-shoulder view is my favorite in the set.

@Highpressure: Thanks for your comment, it's nice to know I'm achieving some desired levels of atmosphere. Anyway, your selections are getting much better! And your shots do an excellent job showcasing the dark Ordinator Armor, this one in particular does one hell of a job showing all the small, minor details in the sets. And this character is very unique-looking. Has such a lean face and older features than most female characters, and still looks really good.

@AlienSlof: Ah, excellent combination of artwork and Oblivion graphics! You've blended the images together real well to create a powerful image.

@Luchaire: Love the way Lydia turned out, and I especially dig the eyeshadow. The collar and dress look especially good on her, as does the top hat. She would make a neat avatar. Besides that, this is gorgeous, great Photoshopping skills!

@Soul Slayer: This has been interesting photo-novelization of the Dark Brotherhood. I like this pic by the way, great use of weather to set the tragic mood.

@Kimory: Good use of comic bubbles, funny dialogue. Like how she freaks out after meeting Cutter, and the Seducer's offhand comment. The shot of the Crucible statue is pretty good too.

@Ryu Doppler: Interesting collage of Ryu's face, and how it's evolved. Neat how you actually kept images of him, wish I had done that for Cyrus. You've made a very distinct-looking fellow, despite using a vanilla hair style, and that really speaks of your talent and perseverance!

@Spike4072: Luna's little sister kinda creeps me out (though I guess all kids kind of do that), though the shots of her pointing at the dress and wielding her sword are cute. A name for her, eh? Sunny, Lucca, Jill, Roshine, Kim, May...Anyway, as for your Ice Elf, she's adorable as always, and the panels involving the "invisibility" ring are really funny! Makes a great gift for your girlfriend!

@Grimbot: Excellent shots as always, with some of the most boss action screens, and great characters. I like the dude on the left in this one, how he's wearing helmet and hefting that hammer.

@cyborgakadjmoose: Thanks for your comment. Wasn't necessarily aiming for a Drizzt appearance (though I guess it's only natural since both he and my character are scimitar-wielding Dark Elves), but trying to emulate some visual effects in Berserk. Dunno how well I've done that, but it's neat if I've matched some likeness to another character! Anyway, I've probably said this already, but Korreen looks so kickass. Don't wanna' mess with her with that mean scowl and nasty scar on her face; she's killed worse than you! And I like the Watchful Moon pic, like the composition of it peering down the ruined tower.

@LprMan: Seeing red! Definitely not something you expect an innocent-looking thing like her to do! :devil: Love the lighting, makes the image look very vicious, and the narrowing halls in the following pic have a very forboding appearance as well.

@Treetop Smoker: Thanks for your comment. Ha, that bear looks really funny, like the one with it sitting by the bow and sword. Just the thing you need to get the chick back in the sack! And those duel shots are nice, like this one with how she holds her blade to parry.

@Cosmic-Banana: Yikes! Darsh is a real mean piece of work, definitely not someone to **** with. Like the screen of him high-fiving Amoz, poses are pretty good.

@Kalia: She may not have any wings, but her dark skin color, glowing yellow eyes, and pointy ears just seemed to say "bat-girl" to me. Oh, and good catch on the Dead Like Me quote.

@SeV: Hmm, that's strange. Can't seem to find any recent pics of yours. Ah well, thanks for your comment. Been wanting to get some snowy pictures, there's always been a serene beauty to snow. Now, if only there were some blizzards in Oblivion to show the more feral aspects...

@Chiglet: Thanks for your comment. Undead skeletal horses kick ass.

His haristyle? :devil:

The same one he had in his morrowind incarnation! =D

Looks really wicked! Can't wait to see his final incarnation. Good luck with it!

Heh, Beetlejuice... funny movie, in my opinion. Anyway, the new and (hopefully) improved version of my character is almost ready to be... er, unveiled. I FINALLY molded a nord face that looks acceptable, so I've recreated the character. He looks mostly the same, except bulkier and sans the pointy ears. I've also changed his class to be more combat-oriented. I messed up when I initially created him by giving him WAY too much magic capability. Now he's closer to how he should be... a sort of quasi-paladin, except with a more neutral good or maybe even chaotic good alignment, rather than a lawful good one.

And in regards to the Negotiator sword I used in my screenshots... it's a great sword. VERY well-made mod, if I do say so myself. Albeit, the sword is ridiculously easy to find, since it's sitting in the middle of the crossroads in the Imperial City's market district. Combined with the fact that it's incredibly powerful (60 damage per swing at 100 blade/strength... at 125% condition, it's 67 damage), the sword can really unbalance the game at low levels, even with mods like OOO and MMM. A great sword for those of us who like to hit stuff with big ol' two-handers.

Eh, I already have experience with cool-looking overpowered swords just waiting for you to grab them in the IC [Hugs his Dragon Slayer], and plenty of willpower not to use them. The Negotiator will be a very worthy addition to my ever-growing collection. hope to see your quasi-paladin soon.

Another (couple) days, another (bunch of) screenshot(s).

@oldmanpoo: Wow! Not one but two excellent group shots of some interesting characters! Interesting how you've got some real child-like ones here, and monster-like ones here (that skeleton dude looks cool, by the way).

@Daiyoukai Ramza: Hmm, they're a little dark, and it's hard to pick up the details, which is quite a shame, because there's otherwise some neat drama in them. I like your choice of weapons, very fitting for angels (I gotta' pick up that Hellgate sword eventually), and the white-winged guy looks like he's pulling some professional fencing moves with his sabre.

@SeV: Thanks for the comment. Your screens are stylish as always, and I really like the muted color schemes you have going in these latest ones. Gives a more natural feeling to the character from the usual ghostly atmosphere she carried in many previous shots.

@highpressure: Torso decapitation never gets old, and the dark Ordinator armor (is it Shadow Lord?) looks really cool. I like how it fits in with this screen. There seems to be a very surreal feeling about it. You've also got some real heroic pics as well (great use of the lens flare on the sword), though your selections are rather sloppy, such as in this one. You need to pick up the gaps in the trees.

@Chimera: Interesting comparison shot of the two characters here. Their clashing appearances give a sense at perhaps how different their personalities may be. Hope they don't get into too many conflicts in their adventures.

@Soul Slayer: Heh heh heh, stupid Valen Dreth. Cool shots of both you and him staring through different bars on opposite sides of the prison. That'll teach 'im for taunting you at the begininng. Anyway, the water-walking pics look great, love the trail of ripples (those are always fun to fool around with). The first one here is especially scenic, with the sun's reflection on the water. And this is my favorite shot of Jasmine yet, great emotion shown.

@cyborgakadjmoose: Excellent views you've presented there, especially this one! and you've made me want to go through Vaernima's quest again. It's one of the more interesting dungeon crawls in vanilla Oblivion. And the shots involving her reaching for the Sigil Stone look awesome, and truly evoke power!

@Floydian1: Another pretty face. The white dress goes well with her hair. And this is an awesome dramatic shot.

@Zombie216: The tattoos look excellent, you've done a great job with them! And Elune's new look is much better, more proportional and feminine. As for your Night elf, he looks a little weird, a bit too bright and cartoony for Oblivion's world. Maybe you could try toning down the blue in his hair and beard (no, I've got no problem with the bushy beard on the elf, I know the source material), darken them a bit, so that they look like real hair growing on him and not so much like plastic. But good luck on the Night Elves.

@Yorkmaster: Ah, Idris has a very nice look. I like how the tiara and tattoo line up together, as if they're matching pieces.

@Kimory: Which way should you go? Doesn't really matter, both ways the doors are only ten feet apart. Only long-term effect is you get a different power ( SI SPOILERS
Spoiler
), and neither are really all that powerful or useful. Maybe you should pick based on what kind of character you use. What kind of personality does she have? I'm guessing dark and brooding ever since losing her wings.

@Treetop Smoker: Great job with the poses, they really look authentic.

@Ryu Doppler: More great screens. I like this one, the zombie close-ups help make it look like a really frantic fight.

@Luchaire: The third one looks best, real gothy chick there. I personally prefer the purple highlights, seems to contrast against her skin better. As for a name for her...hmmm, let's see...Nyte, Shade, Lydia, Eva, Beatrice, Thursday, Phear, Ashir, Danielle Dax, Demonica, Ethereal, Misty. And for Sithis' sake, do not use "Raven," or any variation of it; that's the most cliche goth name ever.

@Darziak
: Character shots aren't required, structural ones are most welcome. Your's is excellent, it has great lighting and shadows. Looks very sinister.

@Cosmic-Banana: Hmmm, I haven't seen her face around. Nice to see a more naturalistic woman around, though I would like some more close-ups of her face.

@Rumpleteasza
: Okay, you may not have posted any screenshot here, but that illustration of Jade is gorgeous! Excellent work! Of course, now you've opened up Pandora' Box and will be doomed to take commissions from more requesting pictures of their characters...but don't worry! I have a solution, a way to escape, and I will do it if you draw me a picture that matches this description...hey, where'd you get that LAW rocket laun-?

@Kaelis Ebonrai: Well, would help if we could get some better angles of him. What's his hairstyle, by the way? Doesn't look very familiar...

@Kalia: Thanks for your comment on my pic and uh, comments (again)! Kisa looks awesome, very bat-like, and her choice of bow is very fitting! Love the close-up here, and how impatient she looks in this one. And you did an excellent job having her hide in leaves here, puts mine to shame (was it inspired by mine?). By the way, that's not a dog my character has...

Xetirox like cookie! Yum! How I get more?

[Cough] [Cough] Ahem, glad to help. Now all she needs is some pale-skinned, ghoulish guy partner wearing a black-and-white vertical-striped suit. ^_^

And Spike4072, great to see the Ice and Wolf Elves released. They should be very interesting to play, hm hm hm :devil:

#305754 Comments about PoOC thread #8

Posted by Xetirox on 20 May 2007 - 11:08 PM in Oblivion Screenshot Archives

@Spike4072: The Ice Elf is really cute, and I like her/choice for a dress for her. A bit conservative, cold color scheme to match her wintry looks. Too bad she seems to have been robbed of her first chance at heroics ^_~.

@Shadow'
: This picture is badass, and that guy is so cool, I would buy anything that featured him! And Nihili has got one kickass throne! As do the spell effects you've shown! As were the spell effects you featured. As for your Dremora well...she looks good, but not like a Dremora. Seems to be lacking in demonic features (i.e. the horns).

@oldmanpoo: These pics, such as the Frost Giant one and the skeleton one have some great action, though they're a bit too bright and saturated. And the *Last Boss Spoilers* one brought a chuckle to my face.

@Luchaire: Ah, I love Suni. This one's very iconic. And I especially like this pic, with her shield shining, and her sword glowing. And the sky is beautiful! Only problem, though, is the background. The blur on the left side looks good, makes the elven ruins shimmer, but it's missing on the right side, making the whole thing look a bit uneven.

@VanQa: Perfect Shot you say? Indeed. The character looks good as always, as does that bow. Is that Nico's latest? And this action shot rocks!

@SeV: She's a looker as always, in some greatly assembled images and possessing an unnatural ethereal glow (and the door to Sheogorath's realm is only enhancing that aspect). Your selection is a bit off in this shot, though. Edges of her body (and hair) are sharply lacking the glow. The background looks fantastic, though, very dreamy. And your use of filters in these three pics is excellent!

@chiglet: Some funny pictures there. And this one in particular looks good, for all its simplicity. Dagon's hired some great architects.

@Floydian1: Ah, now this is just not fair! I don't know how you managed to fit him in the dungeon, but how can you expect the inhabitants to stand a chance against you? :devil: Besides that, Sapphire looks great, and has a very mystifying appearance.

@Kimory: You should try finding or making some comic-like word balloons if you want to add dialogue to your images. Looks better, and is easier to read. Aside from that, I like this pic, it's a good view, and her being in the sky there (looking like a bird from that distance) can really sneak up on you.

@highpressure: Wow, the suit looks pretty good on him here.

@Die 75
: The new Ordinator armor looks good on Basho. Doesn't seem to fit his whole Samurai motif, but then again, they would probably wear this stuff too if it was available.

@Hector the Hooded: The Amazon Armor's not my cup of tea, though the ones with the colder colors below look pretty good.

@Cosmic-Banana: Ah, love the fog effects in your pics, very chilly, mysterious, and atmospheric. 'Course, it might give a wrong first impression to this Dunmer, but he'll figure it out sooner or later. ^_^

@Treetop Smoker: Ah, I love her pose here. Looks as though she's getting about to get into a more battle ready stance after sensing some trouble ahead. Nice show of character. And, uh, by the way, I think might have something to say about your character in the "New Sword" pic... :whistling:

@cyborgakadjmoose: Anything with your Death Paladin is a treat, especially this one. You've shown some great long-distance views of Cyrodiil as well.

@JazzJR: Ah the butterfly pic is terrific, and the coloring in this cat-riding one makes a normally mundane scene look very pretty!

@Grimbot: Great shots as always, and the situation presented in this one is both cool and funny. And the one with him about to slash the orc is seriously awesome.

@Ryu Doppler
: "Always appreciate the night sky" in the Isles? Seriously, who doesn't! It's a beautiful shot! And Beginning is quite heroic.

@Karandras: Filters can be fun, but don't underestimate how good the original pics can still look unaltered. This first one has a neat comic book feel to it though.

@Daiyoukai Ramza: Heh, quite a way to go for an angel. Gave this twisted little mind a very good cackle. :devil:

@Soul Slayer: Ah, the view sun's glint is gorgeous here. And Jasmine's got herself a stylish tattoo.

Yikes! I've been gone for too long, and the thread has passed me by! Stupid busy schedule...and lack of inspiration...grrrr! Alright, wi'out further ado, time to comment on this thread before it goes!

@Darziak: Ha ha ha! This one is hilarious! I've never been able to get an arrow through the head, though, is this pic edited? Aside from that, these two shots are great, very scenic and atmospheric. The falling snow, ghostly moons, and the character's obscured face lend an air of mystery. This one is just beautiful! And aside from that, you've demonstrated a lot of humor in others. The situations, poses, and dialogue are hilarious. This one especially, it's just so random! :ROFL:

@Luchaire: The new hair suits Lydia quite well. Now she doesn't just look like a goth, she looks like a goth/punk rocker!

@Treetop Smoker: SSSSSSAAAAAAKUUUUUURRRRRRRAAAAA! [Draws his Dragon Slayer] DIIIIIEEEEE! Ahem, sorry 'bout that, never cared for the character she looks like she's based off of. Doesn't detract from the pics though; looks like you've been having fun with the Bloody Mess mod! I like this one here, how resigned she looks. And this chick looks pretty cool. The mask and swords give her a very dynamic appearance. And where did the new animations come from?

@VanQa: Ha ha ha ha ha! Remember: His realm, His rules! So for your own good, let Him enjoy the view! Anyway, for the first time, I notice your character has an odd pale complexion here (probably only shows up in that light), gives her facial skin tone an uneven appearance.

@Chimera
: Sasha certainly does have the hair to match the Saint Armor! It helps give her an exotic beauty in this image. Like the dialogue in disowned series of pics, brings humor to an otherwise glum situation.

@Soul Slayer
: The architecture in this series of shots is wonderful! Very archaic and alien; looks like you're putting the Orrery meshes and textures to good use (that plugin's only saving grace). I especially like this one, it's so...odd! A small seating place on top of a very large bed canopy! Outside of that, this shot is awesome! Love the view it's taken from, with the grass in the foreground, though it gives the impression she's being watched...

@LprMan: Excellent pics you got here! A lot of nice atmosphere, especially in this, this, and this! Great scenery here as well; I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something rather melancholy about it...

@Floydian
: Your fairy is really pretty, though i personally like the shorter hair style on her better. I like her flying out of the sewers here, and hiding in the flowers here. ALso like her fighting the Imps, and sitting on this chest here. Gives a good impression of her size. And props to the minotaur pic, looks very athentic. :cheers:

@Grimbot: What a gem. I want a describe what I like about it in poetic way, compare it to great works of artistry, anything but the one blunt term that I'm trying to avoid to sum it. Heroic! Divine! Mighty But nothing else comes to mind, so I have no choice. That. Dude. Is. Bad. Ass!

@JazzJR: Ah, the new character is neat. This shot is awesome, love how you can see one of his large glowing eyes peering out. Sinister.

@Von Stahlriven: Wow! This guy's really cool-looking, and he's still in prison clothes. Agent 47, is that you?

@RogueSun: Wow, that is seriously awesome! It's not enough that you have a unique steed I've never seen before. It's not enough you have it in a great pose. You've put it on a bright background against a sky! It's very heroic looking, reminds me of a lot of fantasy paintings. Excellent work!

@Karandras: Yep, those Argonian eyes are awesome-looking. Make the lizards look very intimidating, moreso than the Dremora (sorry, guys, it's true!). Good action shot, by the way. And the chandelier shots are awesome, good poses. Lining up the hand with the cord must've been a pain. The cave shots are lovely. Like how shimmery the "ceiling" is, how light pours through the holes, the angle of this shot, with the flowers...wonderful job!

@Zombie216: Heh, heh, heh, use enough arrows? It's a nice death shot, he's got a good slump, and I like the heart slipping out of his hand. And you've got a cool scenery shot too. Lovely cloudless night sky full of stars and a bright moon. I'd like to get it too. As for your tattoos, they're very colorful and nice-looking.

@Yorkmaster
: Good shot here. The dusky environment and obscuring grass evoke a very grim mood to it, which is good; nothing positive comes out of Hackdirt!

@Jackmix69: Nope, don't know where that hammer comes from, but that Grummite looks like he's going to learn the only important thing about it. :devil:

@fyrefae: Oooh, awesome! There's no way the night sky over the Isles cannot look good, and the glance back on the character looks like she notices as well! Such a strange but beautiful anomaly! As for the face, she seems to look a little masculine, though I'm not so sure why. Female facial structure is always very tricky.

@CapsAdmin
: NIIIIICCCCCEEEEE! Great atmosphere, excellent photoshopping skills. And with its composition, this would make one hell of a wallpaper!

@Flucidity: Sneaky, you snuck in a, ah, "non-offensive" nudity shot (hate using that term, since I don't find nudity offensive, but oh well). I'd like to get a few more angles on the tattoo she's got, it looks really cool!

@Cosmic-Banana: Great atmosphere! The blood...the shimmer...the suit! A zealotous witchhunter who takes his business seriously!

@Chiglet: Interesting idea of how an Atronach sees the world, with mostly red and its opposite, green. The final version is the best, but it's a bit too intense. Maybe try varying the shades a bit, and maybe making them appear as if even the Flame Atronach's vision itself if fiery. Also, the museum's a pretty neat idea, I especially like the pose of the Clannfeare.

Maaan! I thought the entire site had crapped over, but I guess the forums were okay all this time. [sighs]

@Xetirox: First thought that occurred to me upon seeing the first pic is "Dogpile on the zombie!". The "melancholy contemplating under the night sky" pics are very... surreal and introspective. Is that night sky modded? I've a few mods that modify the night sky, but... I've never really taken the time to look at it.

Thanks for your comment. No, the sky isn't modded. That's the sky that hangs over the Shivering Isles. If you haven't picked up the expansion pack of the same name yet, you really outta,' it's awesome. And has a lot of great screen-shooting opportunities!

Alright, that aside, time to comment on this thread's screenshots.

@Highpressure
: Ah, great detail in this action pic, there's no such thing as too much blood, or, uh, rolling heads.

@Zombie216
: Aw, she looks pretty cute, and the tattoo on her bicep is cool. The little story was pretty funny, and the last image with her shivering outside was a great finisher.

@Treetop Smoker: This has a little bit of clipping, but other than that, she looks pretty good in that armor. What is it, Mythic Dawn?

@Floydian1: Ah, more high quality images! This is an excellent action shot, very dramatic, and the angle and lighting of this beauty here has a real cinematic flair to it.   :cheers: The unicorn's a good steed for her (doesn't help that her appearance reminds me of the human form of Amalthea from The Last Unicorn), and the sunset pic is beautiful. Not so sure about the white pubic hair; mostly because it doesn't much look like hair due to the rather mediocre textures.

@fyrefae: Nice throne shots, especially this one. She looks good in Sheogorath's regalia, and the look on her face is great. Very detached and disinterested. And the scenic shot is really good, great angle on the mushroom and evening sky. The Madgod's one hell of a landscape architect. This screen is really good too, really captures the moment.

@JazzJR: This is a cool image, has a very dreary feeling. And where's the chessboard come from? Makes a very neat image (though he's certainly taking his sweet time making a move   :whistling: ).

@Soul Slayer: Good use of comic panels, though you could try connecting them through bridges (check the second-to-last panel here for an example). Makes it easier to follow the dialogue, and not make the balloons seem so cluttered. Hmm, Syndara seems to have taken her "no questions" promise quite well, I'm sure a lot would need to be asked concerning the Vile Lair... :devil:

@Cosmic-Banana: Wow, that dude looks like he's stepped out of an Anne Rice novel. The tattoos and glowing eyes are pretty bitchin.' And the silhouette shot is bad-ass.

@Shadow': Wonderful images! The tower lookout shots are gorgeous, love the close assassination pic, the bloody severed head (the expression on it rocks), use of lens flare to depict sparking of clashing steel...just, wow! And Alessia's really wicked here.

@LprMan: Great angle here, makes that axe look really formidable. That skeleton stands no chance! And this prayer shot is really nice, like the halo effects.

@Daiyoukai Ramza
: The scenery's is really nice here. And the detail in this pic is astounding!

@Chiglet: Heh, heh. Looking at this, followed by this, is the reason he's walking like that why I think it is? ^_~

@Yorkmaster: Ah, brilliant screen! I like how golden Cyrodiil appears, great depiction of dusk.

@VanQa
: Woo, slick image. Looks like that gate is just another minor setback in her journey.

@Spike4072
: Like the night shots, how she bides her time to make her latest hit. She'll be in for a surprise. And the story with your Snow Elf just got really intriguing. The last picture looks great, the blur makes for a good-looking drug-induced haze.

@Luchaire: I think I like Cymbri's original appearance, with Variant Four is pretty close.

Where can I get one?

Normally, you wouldn't need to. You can change the encoding in your browser (in Firefox and I believe IE, anyway) by going to View -> Character Encoding, and switching to one that might support Japanese characters, such as Japanese and Unicode.

Course, it may not be a problem with you encoding, but the font you're using. You could try getting a Japanese font. You might be able to find both over here.

Yea, major changes to the face didn't turn up anything better so its back to the drawing board for this character :) I think from now on I'm gonna try to avoid taking pictures at night when its hard to see because i always forget in a screenshot its even harder to see. that whole series was quite lacking actually so I guess oblivion needing a reinstall was a blessing :)

Thanks for the comments. As for your shots, don't get too discouraged about night time ones. For screen-shooting purposes, I usually carry around some rings enchanted with Light and put them on when needed, and I hear positive things about the Droppable Lit Torches mod.

NVM, got it!

But...All I see is Question Marks! I can't translate! :crying: :crying:

You're probably using a character encoding that doesn't support those characters.

Anyway...

@Highpressure: Those are some sexy pictures, I especially like that snake ornament she's wearing on her leg, goes very wel with her tattoo.

@Soul Slayer: Those are some pretty images, goes well with the previous set. The poses are excellent in the third one, you've even avoided a lot of clipping. Good job!

@Floydian1: Aw, the one where she's laying on her side is cute. Looks so sad and despondent. Did someone just whack her out of the air? :devil: Anyway, the fighting shots are cool. The jumping attack in particular came out well (that's an awesome pose!).

@Karandras: The nose...was waaaaay off! Seriously, Barbra Streisand now has someone she can pick on. Good thing you fixed it. Aside from that, interesting perspective. Brings some new life to classic assassination pics, from the perspective of the killer (or where she's unseen). This one's neat, it takes a while to register what's going on, which is what I imagine is happening with that guard dude. As for the second set, a lot of them are pretty dark. The moon one's really good though, and the scaling poses look authentic.

@Trollf: Niiice!. Though I think maybe making the past "positions" of the character slightly transparent would make it look better, to make it appear more like one character doing everything, and not three of them.

@Yorkmaster
: Sorry to see that. Dremora have such infuriating facial structure. Seems like Bethesda did some weird $#!% to make them constantly scowling, and one little change in the wrong area (namely the brow), will make them look permanently mopey. <_<

@Rumplesteasza: Ah...this brings a smile to my morbid mind. And you made a good choice in finding a door-opening position. Adds suspense to the picture. Too bad she and her partner are about to realize the real Deadlands party is inside the tower. :devil:

@Treetop Smoker: Great pics, especially this one! Great use of dress, equipment, architecture, and poses. Only thing she's missing is the makeup, and we'd have ourselves a nice little geisha!

@Darziak: About this pic...:ROFL: The scene, dialogue, and previous panels really helped build to a funny punchline image here.

@Karandras: Thanks for your comment. Yeah, there is some editing in my shots, mostly to adjust lighting levels in various parts of them (such as making flames look more intense, add a reddish tinge to the surrounding areas, or a bluish one in the case of the Frost Atronach) using an overlay layer. Oh yeah, and I did use a motion blur some parts, namely in "Fire and Ice" and "Finishing Blow" to make some parts look like they were moving fast. Anyway, as for your shots, the lack of smoke in some of the fires did not bother me much. There's a lot of intense action going on, and it's neat that you've opted to post wide shots of the battle! We can really see all the widespread chaos going on (especially here)! Bravo, and good job with the set design! All those skeletons in Chorrol are really cool too; reminds me of Jason and the Argonauts.

@Zombie216: She's a cutie. Looks quite timid in the IMG shots here. Though I guess for good reason: where is everyone in town? It's deserted!

@Floydian1: More great shots of that fairy! Though I have to wonder how she managed to find the Isle's (stylish) threads in her size? :whistling: Like how she's perched here with the giant mushroom in the background, and this provides another neat perspective of her size. How'd she get that Focus Crystal up there? And the numerous flower shots you made are gorgeous, and just the place for a fairy. And this Gatekeeper one is very disconcerting for her, and that's only compounded with the crimson lighting. Good job!

@Ryu Doppler
: That portrait shot is really cool, very simple and memorable. It could go on a T-shirt. And I like how you managed to get a pic of him in the middle of drawing his sword here, captures the moment!

@Cosmic-Banana: Ha ha ha! That guy musta' been drinkin' some good $#!%, he's even taken down a couple of guards! Love all those slumped on the tables!

@Darziak: Man, a self-hating zombie is so pathetic! Take off the mask (as nifty as it is), embrace your status as an undead abomination with pride, and eat brains!

@VanQa: Nice atmosphere, really gloomy lighting, makes an interesting contrast to her apparent awe at her "newborn," as it were.

@Ranier Fenixheart: Hey, welcome! Sorry if it seems your pics get overlooked, I personally try and make sure not to do that myself. Nice to see some Argonian shots (I don't know why I haven't made any of the one guy I've had on reserve for a while). She has an interesting coloration of blues and greens (very uncommon). And whats that sword she's wielding in this one? It looks really neat!

@Yorkmaster
: Heh heh, not so sure Azura will appreciate you sitting on her statue like that. Nice picture by the way, it seems to have a very cool-headed and observant feeling going on.

@Treetop Smoker
: Thanks for your comment. Your character is looking much better (as if that was even possible), and I like how the amber light plays on her face in that cave.

@Rumpleteasza: Thanks for your comments. And damn, I didn't even notice the drawn ponytail in all of your pics. That must be a pain in the ass, but way to go! Anyway, the silhoetted object in the last pic is the Shrine of Hermaus Mora.

@Karandras: Thanks or your comments, and thanks for the links. Those robes should be very stylish. Oh and, uh, sorry about the gender mixup.

Alright, enough of that, time to comment on some pics!

@Soul Slayer
: Heh, the fact that you've managed to make some fairly sexually explicit screens in Oblivion definitely shows you've got talent. Bah, they're not really that explicit, not enough to be pornographic anyway, much more soft and sensual, especially with the way the light plays on them. "Lovey." Beautiful in any case.

@Trollf
: [Looks at Rumple's corpse. Decides to follow through and commit sepuku, but can't because his sword is too big]. Those shots are gorgeous! Atmospheric, moody...melancholy, especially in this, this, and this. The skeleton shot is really cool (and the skeleton looks really grumpy), and the Sepia pics came out really well. :coolthumb:

@Die 75: This is gem. Love how the bleak, moody sky of Oblivion strongly contrasts with the glowing sword in his left hand, much like a beacon of hope.

@cyborgakadjmoose: Great to see Chandra in action! The wraith shots in particular are cool. Great posing in the first one, seems as if they both anticipated encountering each other.

@Floydian1: Those fairies are as cute as ever (though I imagine she must be feeling a draft), and their poses in the first shot are good. Really authentic-looking, like their getting ready for the shot.

@Spike 4072: The plot thickens! Looks like Snow is going to have her work cut out for her. I like the angle in this shot, classic for cinematic uses.

Damnation! I really need to stop in here more often. Take a more relaxed approach, comment on new pics as they come in instead of taking these extremely long posts commenting on a week's worth. Oh well, until then, here we go!

@Spike4072: What?! Tomorrow?! But I wanna' know what Snow has to do with all this now!

@Treetop Smoker: Damn! I really need to get a hold of those new animations. They add a lot of character. And I really like this sitting pose. And the karate kick shot is awesome! Kicks so much ass, pun not intended.

@Rumpleteasza
: Nothin' wrong with cliches if they're done right. Your Kvatch Oblivion Gate shots are atmospheric. This is a very  eerie view, and I like your use of poses of her looking toward the gate here. And standing before the gate just reeks of coolness!

@Floydian1
: More great shots! Great pose on the fairy here, very dynamic and aerobic-looking (for some reason, I think she just did an aerial somersault, which Sia seemed to be enjoying here). What did do to accomplish that, dodge rolls? Those are a real pain. The dragon pics are good too, I especially like this one, with her weapon drawn, very (anti)heroic! Anyway, what's that male fairy wearing? It's very stylish! And damn, she missed out on something.

@Highpressure: Hey! Bringing a horse to the Arena is cheating! No wonder mounted combat was banned in Cyrodiil ^_~! Lots of blood and decapitations makes for some great action pictures, and having it all take place on horseback adds a new and unique twist. My favorite in the set happens to the one with her cheering, and the pose of the headless corpse in the background adds a nice touch to the whole thing.   :devil:

@Karandras
: Those church shots are great, lot of drama going on. I like the pose here, very tragic-looking. And damn, those characters have some seriously neat-looking robes, where are they from? This guy's textures are amazing, he looks genuinely creepy! And a Dremora child? Not something you see everyday. Aside from that,the parting shot is awesome. I'm a sucker for in-your-face action shots. Really pick up the weapon's details. Good luck on the new character.

@Kalia: Ah, beautiful use of filters, you didn't fall into the trap of overdoing it like a lot of folks. This, this,  and this are pretty good in particular, they have a real comic book feel going for them. The second one is scintillating, very bright and colorful, and the top one really gives me the impression of an old photo.

@cyborgakadjmoose
: Like Korreen, Chandra looks like a badass. The sword goes good with her as well, and her pose and expression helps add to the character.

@VanQa
: Awesome shot of Jyggy, though he possess an odd metallic sheen here. Doesn't look bad, by any means, just different than how He looks. Background in it and the Gwen one look good, with the gloomy fog and fading world. Did you use any blur effects? Is so, you did a good job!

@Alexander Wolf: Awesome use of posing on the hat-wearing character! Could use a bit of something on the Bosmer he's got (no one's going to stand calmly while a sword is at their throat). I'd also like to see your character there, he's wearing some neat stuff. The new wings are beautiful by the way, all ruffled up, but still angelic.

@Rogue Sun
: This did turn out well! Beautiful! Gorgeous! SCOOPalicious! Well constructed scene, very grim-lookng castle, and brilliant torchlit bridge. It's a very moody and atmospheric image, a lot of care and love went into this. Bravo!

@JazzJR
: Nice shots, especially this and this. They've got excellent lighting, and I love the dusky feel in them. And holy smokes, the action here is fantastic! So many red goblins on a steep incline! Those cats have their work cut out for them!

@Soul Slayer: Heh heh heh, this was pretty funny. It's a...masterpiece, Oreyn...

@Chimera: Damn the eye for aesthetics! Oh well, the new Sigrid certainly looks much better. No wonder she likes you better now   :whistling:! I guess if you wanted to get a bit of the old look back, you could shrink her eyes a little, and make her face a little less heart-shaped, just to make her look a little older [Shrugs].

@fyrefae
: Ah, the long hair on her looks good, very lion-like. Aside from that, she does look better, has a much more slender feminine face than before (her jaw was a bit square).

@Jackmix: Heh heh heh...Demented Bear? Gory, disturbing...I like it!

@Ryu Doppler
: Cool shots as usual! Lots of blood as well, what's not to love? Speaking of which, the angle in this one rocks, very unique take, and I like the simulated motion portrayed by the airborn blood. Nice shot of being socked by the Atronach as well, he's got a good pained expression. And the composition here is really good, I like seeing his (blood-stained) legs standing calmy in the foreground as the Orc's torso goes flying away!

@Zombie216
: Thanks for showin' off the new tat, Elise, it's really bitchin!' Wonderful design and image!

@Kimory: Ah geez, another dwarf perpetuating the "angry short guy" stereotype. Hilarious in any case, the typography in the word balloons adds to the laughs, and the "Pwnd" sound effects are priceless! :ROFL:

@Die 75: So, Tamriel's about to be saved by a Simian from across the sea? I can live with that! The posing here is great, by the way. Swift, silent, and with one clean stroke; the true workings of a Samurai warrior!

@Shadowj: Not so sure I've seen you here before. In any case, welcome, and thanks for sharing! This is a nice-looking shot of a waterfall, so tall, and with many complex rock formation. Did you make this yourself? Like the pose on the lazy bear (was that dumb luck you managed to get this one?), good aim here (gave me a good laugh), and Liekos really got the jump on me here. Don't want to run into him in an alley.

@Fluidity: Yes, those facial tattoos came out very well, and I like how they match the ones on the (NUDITY WARNING) body. This shot is very nice as well, the dress looks good on her (and so do those chains!), the view of the architecture is interesting, and the torch rounds it out. And Rakassa has some amazing textures on him! Really wild-looking character!

@Chiglet: That's a very unique Dremora lass. The first version's the worst, as she has those annoying lips that look like she's perpetually puckering up. Can't quite decide between the second and third ones. I guess I'm leaning toward the third as well; the brighter skin color matches her better, and the less prominent cheekbones give her a more feminine feel.

@oldmanpoo: Very adorable-looking character! Great pose here, even if I'm feeling like a molester looking at it. You've probably already had your question answered, but to throw in my buck-fifty (inflation has caused the price of thoughts to go up ^_^), but I'd say the second hair style is better.

@Darziak: Alright, a cool animated GIF! Fierce, feral, animalistic; something's going to die! And you've got a pair of interesting characters there; the white fur armor looks really interesting. And in this one, the guy on the left has a cool expression. Sly-looking. How'd you get it?

@Hector the Hooded: IG Hector's back, and looking as cool as ever! I'm digging the greaves he;s wearing. And he's had dealings with Lucien and the Brotherhood. Intriguing.

@Shadow': Seriously...awesome...$#!%! Those shots, with the alien sky, magical auras, and intense action are epic on a grand scale! I really cannot pick one out, as they all rock beyond all rhyme and reason. Well, okay, I guess I will pick some: the Revanant Lord is wicked, and the final blow is amazing. I don't know how you manage it, but you always manage to outdo yourself!

@Grimbot
: Ha! I like the dreugh pic. The black bars give it a cinematic feel, and the poses of the beasts and characters adds a great feeling of tension. There's gonna' be some ass-kicking on a few seconds.

Groo: They might be reposts, but they're new to me (damn you, month-long hiatus! :rtfm: ). The dude has some interesting gear on (I'm really digging the mask), as well as some interesting living arrangements.

Radicus: Now isn't she a haughty thing? The glasses and the expression give that impression anyway, and gives her a very neat appearance. And the blue sunset does look nice, gives the scene a very surreal and alien appearance.

Shadow': Some very pretty characters, and some awesome-looking swords as well. Zero's my favorite you got there, especially with the sunset shot, very pretty. Aiyla's Distant Fire pic is also good; it's an interesting scene, and I think her flaming sword adds a neat touch to it. Did she cause the fire? :devil: Nice action shots too, the Dremora impaling is cool; I like how the cold colors of the sword contrast with all the hot colors in the pic, makes it look more heroic. Her expression in the last one is good, looks sad, and the pose of her dead friend is good. Could have done a better job on the blood, though.

Greatfool1: Naughty, naughty, a slight shift with the camera, and you wouldn't be able to use the IMG tags. ~_^ That dude's got some mad tats, though. Too bad for him the red-head didn't appear interested in a ménage à trois.

Floydian1: Excellent lighting in this pic here, especially on the sword, very bright (and it's a wicked weapon in its own right)! And the Balrog looks flippin' cool standing against that starry backdrop; the starry blue heavens give an interesting contrast against his fiery, demonic hide.

Soul Slayer: Mmmm, got a good barbeque going there, and a nice view over here. I like how the reflections of the mountains turned out on the water.

Darziak: Cool sequence of shots. The impaling one is good, his positioning appears authentic, and looks like he was really caught unawares (though the blood could use some work), and I like his falling position. Any specific tricks you did pulling that off?

Rogue Sun: :blink: That's...all I can say about this. It's yet another beautiful shot of yours! The angle is good, the nebula is captivating, the sense of depth is spot on (the moon appears considerably closer to us that the nebula), and the glowing star in the corner is the cherry on top to a most excellent composition of the night sky. I would certainly be enjoying it as much as the lass there certainly is.

Highpressure: Ah, the pieces of the sky we can see here is lovely, she better be enjoying it. As for the re-textures, they're looking good so far. The transparencies look spot-on, and the flowery patterns in the lace are very detailed and intricate, especially on the legs. Really like the asymmetry the patterns have going on on them.

Ghinnyfizz: Heh, Deceiving Armor is a fitting name for it; they call it armor, but it hardly protects anything. ^_~

Von Stahlriven: Lil'ith, very fitting name for her, her pose and expression give an air of seduction. Hmm, I'm looking at it, and I'm getting kind of creeped out; her eyes seems to follow you...

@Xetirox: Wha... do you made that armors??? By the way, great duel!!!

Thanks. No, I didn't make the armors. The Dunmer's is wearing Ice Armor (from Bloodmoon) from Ghogiel's Armory, and the Argonian is wearing Kelryn's Phoenix Equipment.

@Xetirox: A Mastermind! You don't see many of those character these days! Well done!

Thanks! Had this guy on reserve for a while, and had the idea for this image for a long time.

Xetirox

Post #22: Really cool picture, I love the reflection in the orb.

Suggestions/questions/answers to questions: How did you get that effect in the orb?

Thanks. As for how I accomplished it, well, that's a bit of a long process in Photoshop. First, we started with the basic screenshot, after a bit of cropping. WIP 0.

1).First, I took this screenshot of mine into Photoshop, cut out a circle of the character, and shrunk small enough to fit within the crystal ball. WIP 1.

2).I decreased the opacity of the layer to 50%, and partially erased the edges with an eraser at 75% opacity to give it a faded effect. WIP 2.

3). Then, I copied the crystal ball, and pasted it in place in a layer above the separate image, and decreased its opacity by 50%, making the image in the ball even more faint, and to give the reflections of light greater power, and intensity, so that they looked as if they were on the surface, and the image was within the crystal. WIP 3.

4). Then, afterward, pulled my usual trick of merging all the layers together and made an adjustment layer, set as a partially transparent Overlay. Usually, I set it at 50%, but this time, it was at 85% to get some more radical-looking lighting changes. Then, I used a partially transparent paintbrush to paint the character, the table, the ball, and throne white, and the rest black, to give an eerie look to the whole thing, as if he's sitting in darkness with only a single glow to light the place up. WIP 4.

5). Then, after merging all those together, I altered the brightness and contrast, giving it a crimson glow, making the light and image really stand out on the ball, and giving it a very sinister-looking crimson light to the entire pic. FINAL IMAGE.

No time to relax! Gotta' catch up on the past few days and comment!

@lravenwing
: Hey, welcome! No need to feel shy. Tallia's a beaut! The golden lighting in some of the shots (like here and here) makes for some pretty imagery. And this scenery makes for a great background.

@Spike4072: So...they're sisters...that last comment of mine is sure awkward...Anyway! I like Denesta, her dress, and her preferred hangout (a graveyard). Very goth-like.

@Rogue Sun
: Beautiful! Emotional! Scenic! Is that a modded sky? Amazng! Brooding!

@Highpressure
: Those are some really cool scenes, the Hunter's Coat is really neat. That, as well as the muted color schemes really add an air of mystery and mysticism to the pictures. And the pose here rocks. The vampiress shots are good too, I especially like the position and angle here; very seductive and menacing. This shot is very good too, very contemplative.

@Zombie216: The situation in the recent set of pics was pretty funny, especially this one. And the moon shots before that are really cool. The Frostcrag shots are really nice as well; the view is gorgeous and the mood set here is brilliant.

@Treetop Smoker: The teddy bear shots are cute, gives a very childish appearance to these otherwise mature-looking (as in being in their late teens) girls.

@Floydian1
: Heh heh, nice teef. Got some great poses here and here, and I like the dude's smile. The dragon night shot is a sight to behold (that sky is very nice), as is this view of the sea!

@Shadow': Oblivion addicting? Tell me about it! Quite a peaceful scene here, by the way, captures the feeling of a cool foggy morning. As for your other shots, words ****ing leave me. The particle effects here are astounding, and the formation and look of the characters in the Dark Army is just...wow! Superb job!

@JazzJR: That's a very unique-looking Khajiit there. The bandana looks really neat on him. And I love the grittiness evident in this pic, seems to stand out among the others which show the brighter world outside of Oblivion.

@Soul Slayer
: Ah, more erotic Oblivion goodness. The lighting is especially good in this shot, like how it plays on her wing.

@Ryu Doppler: About this one... :ROFL: That's all I can say. Besides that, the light shots are pretty, and this night shot in particular is ****ing amazing!

@Rumpleteasza: It is quite amazing what a few subtle changes in Photoshop can do. Great job with the editing here, and the lighting is beautiful.

@Flucidity
: Nude pixels are bad pixels? Er, if you say so, but I beg to differ :lol:. Anyway, what's with the chair in the water? The original Actors in Charge and Madness mods include the sitting animations without having them appear (unlike what the new ones do).

@VanQa: Nice arrangement of shots. Gwen looks good, as usual, and the suit she's wearing looks cool.

@Fyrefae: Great scenery shots, especially in this one. Her pose and clothes are cool too.

@Karandras
: The floiage pics aren't bad. The first one seems to obscure to see what she's spying on, but the second one is nice, especially how well she blends in thanks to the muted colors of her garbs.

@cyborgakadjmoose
: Nice view, the setting sun over a cloudy sky gives it a very foreboding feel (and Korreen's cape only adds to that).

@Darziak: Excellent screens! This one is very atmospheric and creepy in some strange way, the scenery here is awesome (very bright, beautiful, and relaxed), and the helm in the foreground here is nice, especially how we can pick up the fine details in it.

@Rainer Fenixheart: This is a cool action shot, especially how close to the camera the sword is. That Khajiit is toast!

@Chiglet: Wonderful view! The gold reflecting on the water, the fading mountains in the distance, and the overhanging leaves make for a beautiful composition. If only you didn't have that console cursor in the corner...

The Lock came! the Lock came! None have surviiiiiiiiived! But I will not be stopped!

@MystykStar: Lori's lookin' good. Something looks very wild about her.

@ghaleon1103: Welcome! Thanks for sharing. The goggles look good on her, she has a real retro-futuristic style to her with them and the gear she's wearing here. Neat.

@Treetop Smoker: You've got a cool action shot here. Like the different stances they're all in; with the Legionaires in the exact same ones, as if in formation, and the girls doing their own thing. Shows what different styles and backgrounds these characters have.

@Spike4072
: Now that's just cool, there are so many potential screens to make with that cape! And the waterfall shots are very festive and relaxing, especially this one. Snow better watch out, though, her friend is looking like she wants a partner in her skinny dipping.

@Chimera: Good job with the posing here. Looks very cute. Some close-ups would have been nice, though.

@Karandras: Hmm, could use some better, closer shots of her face, but what I see looks good. Very tough, mature, and strong-looking.

@Soul Slayer: Good job with all the karate kicks. You showed those Conjurers what for! And I love the way the light reflects off of the water here, adds an oddly serene look to an otherwise actiony shot.

@Rumplesteasza
: Thank you for your comments, and I'm glad you enjoyed my story. I was hoping to emphasize what a powerful and dangerous object the Oghma Infinium is, and what may happen when someone "reads" it, imagining it as something far more spectacular than the game could portray ("Open it up, and increase my Intelligence, Willpower, and Conjuration by 10? That was easy!"). I am curious about the one you mentioned and how similar it is to mine. Would you be willing to share it (if only I can bang my head on the wall in frustration at failing to come up with an original idea :ROFL:)? As for your stuff, there's lot of excellent atmosphere in your shots, especially in this one! Like how the harsh flames seem to add a silhouette effect to the characters, adds dramatic tension. And the pics of her taking the Sigil Stone are awe-inspiring, how the fires engulf her (like here, this one's a keeper)! and the ones that follow are great too, the amber lighting and clear skies give an impression of the calm after the storm, and weariness of heroism. Great job with the hair as well!

@Highpressure: Thank you for your comments. I'm glad I was able to immerse you in Cynn's journey. As for your pics, the mid-air acrobatic combat ones are tight! Don't even want to know what you had to go through to get those positions just right.

@Die 75: The lighting in these latest shots is fantastic, illustrates the nature of the beasts he's fighting very well. I like his expression in this shot, and this pic is very tense. I can imagine seeing them charging down that narrow corridor, apearing in a sea of red from the shadows.

@Floydian1: Wow, she's got some slick dance moves. Those all make a very neat set when put together. And as many have already mentioned, she's wearing some cool stuff here!

@Zombie216: Fool, you should have kept Azura out of danger! The goddess of the same name is a very vain one, and would pull every stop to get rid of this poser!

@Zombie216: After what happened last time, I can understand why she'd be a little pissed. Least she doesn't have any blood in her head.

@Highpressure: Oh man, seeing that chick in that hat is making Loreena McKennitt's version of The Highwayman play in my head, especially the one with her on horseback. Which is not a bad thing at all, really.

@Jackmix: You mean that's not an ingame pic? Rats, now I'm disappointed. Still, it's a cool picture, and it shows some great image editing talent!

@Rogue Sun
: Somehow, I've become a fan of your shots veeeeery quickly! This would have been an excellent shot in its own right, thanks to its composition (the guard's helmet lying in the foreground away from his body is a fantastic touch), and the filter adds a gritty feel to the whole scene. Serenity (NUDITY WARNING) is quite beautiful as well, a really nice relaxing scene.

@Cosmic Banana
: Karate kicks are quite commonplace now, though this one is really good. Managed to get a good pose on the kick-ee, adding some authenticity to the pic.

@Ryu Doppler
: Very pretty night shots. Clear skies, crisp-looking (and a bit unnerving) moons, and even a bit of photographic look in this one. Like the dynamics you show between the characters (especially in this first one, they look like dependable partners). In case you're curious, I would say that the cropped Night Preparation shot is better than the wide version; aside from having sharper details (in the moons and characters), it also helps focus the scene on what's important (the wide version shows some unneccesary details, such as the longer tree trunk, that draw the eye away from the characters). Aaand this action shot is awesome (sooooooo much blood!). Sorry his trademark feather hat ain't so unique now.

@Floydian1: She knows style, alright. Like the lighting in the pic, and especially how her ring glows. So illustrious! And this is an interesting pic, how calm she looks amidst all this chaos around her! One would think she started the fire! :devil:

@Yorkmaster: Looks like she's slain an entire horde of bandits! Shame if she's where I think she is (Vilveren?), she's going to meet something worse than lowly bandits!

@Darziak
: Interesting scenario. Like how you portray the spell effects in his hands, especially in this one. The way the light plays around looks fantastic! And the last panel was pretty funny.

@Shadowj:
The Decap City shots brought a good chuckle over here. This one's my favorite, just because of the Redguard's pose; all friendly and amiable, even without a head! :ROFL:

@Spike4072
: Sexy, though I'm guessing where this will be leading may not appropriate, even on this board.

@Die 75
: The big meeting! Interesting how varied they look standing together, though that won't mean anything for the battle to come. One of my favorite moments in the game.

@Rumpleteasza: Very expressive, you did an excellent job illustrating the unease she's feeling. And the eye picture is wicked!

@Hector the Hooded: 'Bout time, can't wait to see where this goes. This fiery shot looks neat. A demonstration of power?

@Soul Slayer
: Sable, eh? She looks good, among other things. Morose being one of them

@JazzJR: Now here's a moody shot. Neat perspective over his shoulder, and how well he blends in with the shadows, calm, collected, and cocky.

fyrefae: Amaretha looks pretty good in that, and the dark gear has an interesting contrast with her white face. The mosaic shot doesn't excite me too much, though; I'm too familiar with Photoshop filters.

Spike4072: Hoo boy, Haruko is now about to prove why she's not supposed to sneak off like that. Should be interesting regardless.

Floydian1: Oh man, this is just wicked! Demoness atop her Nightmare steed, galloping across the hellish plains of the Deadlands! Excellent theme going on there! Th shot of the deer is pretty nice as well, though the burnt-up tree and bandit camp in the background kind of stick out a little too much to me. And this is by far the most threatening thing a mudcrab has ever done! :lol: The flame effects look really cool here (though a more dynamic pose/expression would have added to the pic), and the sacrifice scene is great too.

Shadow': Okay, okay, just relax, breathe! There's an easy way to cure the sickness. All you need to do is open up your hate and let it flow into me. Okay now? Once again, you've demonstrated excellent posing skill between your characters, especially in this one: there's minimal clipping and she looks so giddy and happy. And the sunset is really gorgeous, the light on the water and glow in the sky makes it look like one of the best ones ever!

Soul Slayer: The rooftop view is very nice, looks like a beautiful day. The lens flare was put to good use here as well, and I like its position of just peeking over the ramparts.

Grimbot: I have to agree with Zombie, your shots always make me jealous ^_~. Always makes me want to upgrade my video card (can't, though...stupid laptop). The mass battle shots with the huge monster are really cool (as usual), and the characters really have some cool equipment (especially the bow! Is it one of Nico's stuff?). The other set of pics are funny too, like how he looks here (ouch!), and this shot would explain that strange scream I heard earlier; damn punk did a rip-n-run with his beard! :ROFL:

Highpressure: Thank you for your comments. Glad I surprised you. Anyways...Awesome! That would be a very unnerving sight to see her descend like that. Very eerie-looking character (and she kind of reminds me of Nocturnal). But this is a really good shot; atmospheric, dark. Evil emanates from it!

Treetop Smoker
: The Hunter's Coat is really cool. I like how the high collar blocks out part of her face, makes her look dark and mysterious. And the hat and sword go surprisingly well with it.

These might be the last comments for a while, before I'm swallowed by the Vortex of Souls...er, I mean, the donations of SCOOP.

Highpressure: Sexy-looking mask there, goes well with her, uh..."clothes." Like the look of this chick's face as well, very slender and cocky.

Treetop Smoker: She's got a really good face, very calm and composed.

Alexander Wolf
: Now this is a cute image, and just what you'd expect a fairy to do: relax on the water admiring the flowers. The perspective is nice, gives a good view of her of her amiable face, and I like the flowers in her hair. Ditto for this shot, excellent pose.

Darziak: Hmmm, now this looks familiar...alright, kidding, not accusing you of anything! The pic carries its own distinctive style, the dark background really make the flames jump out and glow.

Spike4072: Awesome views, her choice of perch is unique as well, and the glowing katana is boss. Snow has an uncharacteristic arrogant look here (or is it her evil sister? :devil:), though it is kind of funny as well. The Flaming Minotaur looks pretty cool, very demonic.

Zombie216: The new eyes are amazing! The light reflection adds a touch of photorealism to them, and enhances the character greatly. And her expression in that shot is awesome, carries a sultry, haughty, and detached personality.

Floydian1: Is that Sia? The new hair looks pretty good on her. Not quite as wild-looking as before, but the more well-trimmed appearance gives a more...sinister-looking quality to her. That carries out in this earlier one, though oddly, the other one looks innocent. Hmmm...aside from that, the goblin action shots rock, especially the victory pose (:ROFL:), and the water rat looks very cool. And I like the angle here, shows off her hands very well, both the elaborate jewelry and the flames. The glowing eyes are wicked as well. Don't wanna mess with her!

Flucidity: Gorgeous-looking kimonos! And this shot is awesome, very perky, mischievous, and seductive-looking. And the sunset here is beautiful as well, and you chose a good kimono to go with it.

Soul Slayer: Oooh, love the window pic, the angle and pose of the character give a contemplative look to the whole thing, something you don't expect in that kind of stormy weather. And I like the shot in the bushes as well, very alert-looking.

JazzJR: These two shots go very well together. I like his pose, helps add character and authenticity to the scene, and the floating corpse is awesome.

Milera: Hey, welcome! She's a cutie, has an energetic pose.

Rogue Sun
: The high kick is awesome, added some spice to the slew of karate kicks we've seen. Dynamic, and the angle the guard is bent at is perfect! And the Inferno shot is ****ing sweet! The fiery light glowing on her makes her look really evil! The view here is beautiful as well, carries the melancholy atmosphere of dusk very well.

Yorkmaster: We have a distinct lack of Orc shots. Very sad, but it makes yours all the more welcome. He looks cool with the bloodshot eyes.

VanQa: Nice compilation of shots. Shows a couple of different sides to her personality, and the view of the statue in the middle is neat.

Windwalker: Interesting character there, kinda' reminds me of Beatrix from FFIX. Has a very devious look here, and you did a good job portraying her twisted nature here; a toast to decaying corpses! :devil:

Grimbot: The group shot rocks, shows the diverse nature of this merry band of adventurers! Pretty photogenic location as well, got a nice view of the mountains peeking over the trees, and a waterfall to boot!

Prometheus: That's BEAUTIFUL! Brilliant pose! Brilliant lighting! Very desolate environment, and the clothes are very fitting! and the typeface/logo...wow! Can't wait for the mod to come out!
