No, the fact you cannot see the endings doesn't make me happy at all - OTOH, the other fact, that a cheat failed to work does. Even if it means overcoming a problematic/buggy point in a game, cheats just make me upset. ^_^

I've never used cheating in any other game, and before IWDII, I had the exact same opinion as you, but that game maked me want to kick the crap out of my computer, and cheating saved my little cabinet from being torn to pieces.

The interesting fact was, I didn't complete the game anyways. Too many bugs for me.

When I enter the elevator to face the master in Fallout my game crashes. I would like to see the master just once whatever the cost. So game zealots can shove their ideals to where even the Cowled Wizards could not scry them for my personal games, if I just get what I paid for: A conclusion to my story.

Apart from the slight OT-ness I must say that playing both in a row was kinda pleasing regardless of lacking npcs and talking heads.

I'd say cheating is completely acceptable under those circumstances. Or if you have to beat a game to review it and you don't have enough time to get those pesky levels. Btw, happy birthday, jester! :)

@Jester: I've never had that problem with fallout. Then again, I've never played without installing the fan-made bug fixes, either. If you've never tried them, you can get it at No Mutants Allowed. I'm willing to wager you've been there before since you seem to like Fallout as much as I do, but just in case you haven't been there yet.......http://www.nma-fallout.com/.

People who use, have once used, or ever intend to use the word "ginormous" in the future should be shot. They needn't be killed, though. Just shot.

I've always thought it a great shame that they decided to spoil IWD2 with such cataclysmically gay things as:

- The forest maze

Seriously. Who the fuck thought that was going to be a good idea?

Heh heh, I hated that one... first time it took me an hour to make it by random turns... gah. <_<

Yep. The first time I played the game I had a lot of trouble regarding both Ice Castle and the Dragon's Eye lair.

That was pretty much my only inconvenience with the game, in that it's often very tricky, how to get past these puzzles and stuff. That and the fact that clerics only get two summoning spells as level 9 spells, not counting domain ones.

But I generally did enjoy it more than IWD.
