I have installed NEJ2V691 with BWP megamod and beyond the normal problems (2 Yoshi's, Shar-Tel has lines from BG) I haven't noticed anything. I'm still in Athkatla (both Nej parts done) but so far so good.

Thanks for your testing, but why you have not try NeJv6.91 with the NeJ v6.9.4 patch? But good to know that v6.91 works.

Greetings Leomar

Of course I used NeJ v6.9.4 patch with NeJv6.91 (sorry for not mentioning it but I thought that was clear by itself, you know if there is a patch for something you usually use it), in install order I have installed it at the same place as mentioned in BWP guide with BGT parts installed after restored txt (if you are wondering). I'll keep using it from now on since it seem to work great (nothing game breaking happened so far )

I think erebusant has some fixes for this too (for botched CREs, etc. - based on the same Resource Fixer macros from Nythrun I mentioned).

Can you post your WeiDU.log and tell us, if you have made own changes for NeJ?

Sure I can and no I didn't, beside a little bug fixing and part 3 to have a closure I don't think any special treatment is necessary (maybe if more people start using this great mod part 3 will be added). I just test mods and work on install order (my coding and programming skills are pathetic at best  so I don't do any changes).

During my many installs I figured out that Improved Ilyich is compatible with everything if installed before fixpack (no loses to content) and I think other tactics stuff works as well (but I think most of it gets overwritten anyway by other mods that add same or similar content).

Oh and is someone working on the big bg2 mods because I think they need a real rework, mainly NPC's need more content (Drizzt for one needs a custom kit and some banters, now he is just wasting a slot, not to mention that he is always the first to get butchered and not even imp. celestial fury can help him ) and the mods need some bug fixing.

@Leomar

A little update for Nej: it seems that the BWP fixes for older Nej also apply for NeJv6.91 (except tp2) and without them you get installed with warning (fix for minsc is a must).

This we have already thought ourselves. Thanks for your confirmation.

Hope this is the right topic... Anyway, I'd just like to thank everyone involved in the BiG World Project for the work they're doing to allow mega-install fans like myself to make our game folders as stupidly large as possible. I do hope you end up putting every mod in the Expert version into the BiG World version eventually (I assume if you do, then such a project will begin after the BiG World version is as bug-free as possible), but I'm grateful for what we've been given so far. Thanks again, you guys.

Here's hoping we all get to see the day when every single mod ever is a part of the BiG World. :)

I wanted to inform you that I have, unfortunately, during the next days no time to look after your questions and problems. But because you support yourselves also mutually, I hope it goes on so far everything as before.

Now I must use my free time for it to finish something extensive for the new BWP v6. Since only if I am ready with it, the others of the BWP team can continue with their work so properly. I already owe you spot in advance for your understanding. You will not regret it afterwards.

Cannot be disturbed because of my absence and are soon glad about a completely renewed BWP v6.

Soulfire, thanks for your nice words.

Greetings Leomar

There is an incompatibility between Revised Battles v6 and BPv177a. More info here.

I'm pretty sure that CRE is hosed even without Revised Battles. One reason I run Nythrun's resource fixing macros before BP as mentioned here (BWP bug report thread). I think erebusant does pretty much the same thing.

Miloch your post was Very helpful! I did run the file to fix it, but it would still not install. When I moved the backup that Revised Battles made I was able to install BP. I am not sure what the problem is, just that i could not install it with the version from Revised Battles and could with the earlier backup.

I had a dream about the future of this mod, strangely enough. It involved me visiting Sorcerers.net to look for new mods, only to discover that there were only three mods in the entire BG2 section (And the patches, obviously). One was the "BiG World Complete Content WeiDU Pack", the second was the "BiG World Complete WeiDU Fix Pack" and the third was the "BiG World Complete WeiDU Tweak Pack".

From what I can remember, I downloaded them and it took me about a week to get all three. :D You know in cartoons and comics, how they sometimes show the passage of time by having a day/night cycle going on outside a window? Yeah, that happened. It was cartoony, too. Then I installed the three mods one by one, which took another few days. I was given two choices in the tweak pack's WeiDU installer, which were "Install all tweaks that make the game easier?" and "Make the game hard enough to cause physical pain?"

When the third pack was done, the readme file opened up. It simply said "Everything's perfectly compatible! No bugs, either!" Then I loaded up the game and everything was shiny and beautiful.

I *hope* that was the future I saw. It'd be frigging great if it was. A single WeiDU installer for the entire project would be awesome, especially if everything was compatible. Well, best get back to learning how to mod so I can help out eventually. :D

...

You know, much snasier version of that would have been to download a "front end" program just like this, but it would also install and download everything else thats needed, to make every BWP version work.
It's a front end program, so you can choose what to install etc.

Now if Dream!Soulfire had known about a front-end program... but, er... are you sure that's the right link? That's a soundset mod. :P

You didn't try it. That's not the actual content of the mod, just the downloader exe, as the content takes far more than 278.67kb to download, about 20Mb's actually.

Ah, I see what you mean. At first, I thought you meant to link me to a front-end downloader for the entire linklist, but posted the wrong link. Then I thought you'd linked me to the right file, but it was mislabeled. Yeah, like that.

I'm not sure what the problem is either. I checked the code for BP and Revised Battles and jael01.cre itself and didn't see any issues with it, though at least 5 different mods are messing with it.

Well, you could try SMM or IEMI if that's the sort of thing you're looking for.

@ Soulfire
Wait until August/September and your dream of a front-end downloader will get true!
