The Viconia Friendship is in its final stages of development, and is now seeking several editors to ensure maximum Viconia-ness! Feel like you have a good grip of our favourite drow's personality? Have a flair for her insults, or understand the way her mind works? Have a great grip of grammar? Then we are looking for you!

The project is also going into beta-testing, and we are looking for 3-4 Viconia-lovers to play through and tell us what they think as well as help us fix any errors which may arise. No previous testing experience is necessary, but it is always helpful! This involves simply playing through and commenting on the dialogues, what you like and what you feel doesn't work so well, etc.

If you are interested in helping in either of these areas, please send me a PM or post in this thread!

In case you didn't get my PM, I'd love to take your enhanced Viconia questing with me. I have just about got the hang of this site but I still screw up more than even a dotard should be doing fudge a lot of things like individual messages. I bake a mean apple pie, though. I am not all huge muscles and raw testosterone. Damn!

EDIT: There, I've just done it again! I clicked "Add" intead of "Preview" before starting to type this paragraph. The reason I mention apple pie and hiding my testosterone is that Viconia in the guise you've given her may need a female PC to walk around with. If so I would play as my daughter, which I've done before -- especially in games like Diablo where the Amazon has to be a female. My daughter has been able to beat me in wrestling since she was 15, so smacking Irenicus & Co would be a breeze for her. Do you think Viconia would be happy to go questing with a P.E. teacher?

I did battle with monsters, and they became me, and when I gazed into the abyss, the abyss looked away shyly.

PMs sent to interested parties so far--I'm still looking for more editors in particular, but even if you're just interested in testing just send me a message. :)

I think I've got my hands full testing at the moment, but I'd be happy to read over stuff.

I'll volunteer as a proof-reader. My modset isn't incredibly stable right now, so betaing would be difficult, but grammar fixes aren't a problem. :)

I'd be very happy to concentrate on the editing if you could put up with my sometimes offbeat take on everything from Amorous Aardvarks to Zebra Zygotes. Somewhere in the middle I am bound to contort Drow Dialogues (or Dialogs if you want to do everything in American).

Certainly, I'd love to hear your perspective and see your edits... :)

Oh, and yes, that is something I should state--American English. I have an unfortunate tendency to write a mish-mash of Australian, British and American English, so those sorts of corrections would be appreciated!
