In Topic: what to do after looting the Caravan?

13 May 2011 - 07:55 AM

Hey,

thanks for the quick reply. I actually loaded an old save and played the Hold part again and I noticed a couple of things that I wanted to tell you about so you can address them in a patch if you want to:

(1) I now know why I wasn't aware of the Government District connection: After I defeated all the red soldiers, I talked to the Caravan Master and he told me to look for the young wizard. Since I couldn't find him, I just talked to him again and he acted like I actually talked to him (thus, I was never told about the other guy in the Government District). So there is something wrong with the variables, I assume.

(2) Jaheira needs to be present when talking to the demon in the light house, otherwise the dialog won't be completed (she's making a remark on the location of the hold). This is also true when you talk to the young red wizard in the Hold. If Jaheira is not present, the dialog won't finish. So maybe make it mandatory that the whole party has to be present to venture further.

(3) the demon in the light house talks about a chest behind him, but I don't see anything to click on there.

(4) the first time I arrived at the Hold, the majority of the people were all spawned in the same spot (way in that narrow hall passage in the back). When I played the Hold the 2nd time, everybody was spread and in the correct location. I noticed the same when I went to the Caravan location, this time the wizard and all the mercenaries were spawned in the same spot (North West of the map), this did not happen the first time around.

Just to make sure, what am I supposed to to do with the Caravan? I talked to the guy, he agreed to pay me for protection..am I supposed to just take the Black Lotus and kill everybody now? Or is there a subsequent quest? I haven't been to the Government District yet because I wanted to finish the Caravan part first.

Anyway, keep up the great work, I'm having a good time with the mod.
