It depends what you want.  Making your party multiclassed reduces their levels but keeps their full EXP.  Using a variety of companions does a similar thing.

Regarding IWD in EET, Oloriniel played IWD1 in EET including Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster and reported not encountering any notable bugs.  While I know of no specific release status like alpha or beta, the mod seems stable enough to seriously consider using for users who just want IWD playable in EET, and the mod's author, tipun, seemingly hasn't updated the IWD1/2 in EET campaigns in months or years.

I am uncertain what about TotLM in EET would need to account for to avoid overwriting files, but if it's a simple 'if this mod exists' check plus maybe a warning and some minor documentation of 'don't install these mods together,' it seems very worthwhile to do to prevent people from accidentally causing problems with their install.

I emailed Shi woo, the author of this mod, and he has granted the community permission to edit it.  This was the email conversation:

"Greetings, Shi woo!

There has been community interest in updating your mod The One Drizzt to EET (Enhanced Edition Trilogy) compatibility.  I assumed you would allow it, but do you have any objections if the community takes it over?

BUG: The over-the-head text boxes for dialog went by way too quickly!  The game should pause and display proper dialog boxes.

This was on EE 2.6 with only EET, Ascension, and Longer Road.

Bouncer from Discord told me this today regarding this mod:

ERROR Installing [The RPG Solaufein Flirt Pack for BG2 (Rated NC17)], rolling back to previous state
Will uninstall 5 files for [RPGSOLAFLIRTPACK/RPGSOLAFLIRTPACK.TP2] component 0.
Uninstalled 5 files for [RPGSOLAFLIRTPACK/RPGSOLAFLIRTPACK.TP2] component 0.
ERROR: Unix.Unix_error(20, "opendir", "")

Bouncer then noticed that the rpgsolaflirtpack.tp2 references an invalid directory 'solarom' which should be 'solaufein'. After correcting it in the tp2 file it installed successfully. Here is the altered tp2 file.

BUG: If installed on EET and starting a new game in BG1, Target Bunny appears and has its dialog.  The Teleportation Stone of the Cryomancer lets me warp to BGII's Athkatla's Docks and back!

Thankee!  Alleluia!  I've been eager for the 2 Saradas Magic mods to be EET compatible for years now, and you've made this dream come true for Saradas Magic 1!  (Others already ported Saradas Magic II to EET.)

On EET, does the install order matter for Saradas Magic I & II so long as they're after EET Start and before EET End?

I received these messages from zelazko on Discord regarding Mercenaries of the Sword Coast.
 

Well I can tell you the mercanaries mod kinda works

you can buy and sell (using slave collars) slaves

and mercy component kinda works too
Ichyard the skeleton surrendered
but was unable to join the party
his dialogue after choosing him to join ended conversation
I could have him join after that by using cheat
I would try to sacrifice npc to the Cyric Altar
but I don't know where to find the altar in the game
The part where you can buy slaver collars and sell your npcs is fun
kinda can be useful if you install lots of npcs and are short on cash
The mod appears to be okay
I'd recommend to install it before kits and tweaks
I could see that Anishai  one day npc may interfere with the mercy component of thje Mercaneries mod
it let you spare Anishai and have her join the party
Also the files MULTIG/MULTIJ
the mod says that will conflict with any other mod that edits them
so far only Almateria Restoration Project touched those files when I searched for them in my BG2EE folder
but according to Graion Dilach
"if you create a party for a start then the nonBhaalspawn chars (second slot onwards) get those"
so I think it would only affect the party created at start. kind of nothing to worry
My biggest issue with mercanaries mod by Lyssal is that those npcs that join you take the party member slot
if they tagged along like 7th party member that would be perfect like in Afaaq mod or Jastey's Solaufein mod
