Kania, I fear you DO have mistakes, especially as far as the idioms are concerned. Your text needs a great deal of cleaning, and now I'm at it - i'm through with one big file already, and I can post it at aerie.ru or send it to you if you are interested.
I fail to understand, though, what's wrong with Edwina, cause that's the way Laufey has spelled the name, and it happens to be _her_ (and Dorotea's, of course) mod after all, not that of our own to make corrections. Then again, I've read Laufey's fanfic "Cards Reshuffled" (thanx a lot Laufey, I really enjoyed your story and the prequel as well ) which the mod is actually based on, and it is clearly said that 'Edwina' was used not to cause misunderstanding or confusion when referring to the newly feminized Edwin. Makes sense, does it not? You know, your sis is not the only one to love Edwin, and if his name was somehow mistreated, I surely wouldn't approve of it, believe me!
Finally, I strongly disagree that Thay should be pronounced as [tai]. I don't intend to humble you or something, but I'm a student of a linguistic faculty and actually am not ignorant in such matters... Please try not to be rude when answering, if you will.

*weary* hey, hey. I've never seen anybody, who loved Edwin as much as my sis does. Most players can say - "my favourite NPC", that's it. And for sis he is a real, living, beloved man. As Haer'Dalis for me. If you think we're both insane - t'is you right to think so or otherwise.
I'm sure Edwin never resign himself to be a *real* *woman*. And he will not talk about himself as a "she". Edwina, yeah. BUT - in English there is no difference who is talking of himself - я делал/делалА. This is what I mean. And only the NPCs who hate him and want to hurt him will refer to him that way. Alora was talking properly, but it's Alora. Who cares if the authorities think differently.

MY text? Cheesh, how do I know you've got exactly MY pieces of work? As I remember, I've read it for 10 times before sending - who would want to hurry and disgrace himself? And I have no desire to go to AerieRu - you can see, I never get along with those guys. If my opinion in general questions is not what matters, than what for will you send anything to me? If I've missed a pair of commas, there's no need to "report" about them.

You come there almost every day... Not that I am spying - I just can see your name in the list at the bottom of the page - others can's see it, of course, you know why.

By the way, if your posts were edited - there would be the "edited by.." mark.

1. Not all AerieRu - just three of us.
2. If you'd said "I don't like the translation" - it would be OK. But you said that we have spoilt your translation. And Alora as well - though it seems that nobody has corrected it after you.
3. If you speak about AERIE on ANY forum on the whole World Wide Web, don't we have the right to come there and argue with you there?

We have done lots of work - we have already translated over 100 mods into Russian. Some of them are translated better, some worse - most of us are not professional translators. Would we stand aside when somebody states that all of our work is rubbish?

I would like to apologise to the moderators - this is my last post on this subject here.

Yep, sorry 'bout that line. I just didn't want to cause any further disturbance here in this thread, there's bad enough of it already (due to my short temper as well as everyone else's )

As for Lora, I missed to see Врата БалЬдура and Девять Проклятых Кругов (Aww, forgot to check poorthing Cernd). Or I'm crazy, corrected it meself and forgot about it... hmm...

And who was talking about ALL yer work? Saerileth is brilliant. Well... ahem... I've read a hell plenty of the translations, nothing's like Faergus yet.

No-no-no, you misunderstand! I mean - you wanted to tell me, what corrections you'll do in my text, but if it doesn't touch painful things like Edwin/Edwina, it's no need to "report" me about something. Who I am, your Corrector?
And about "disturbance" you misjudge me. You or anybody can say anything to me, I'll stay a nice pointy-ears. Until I'll find out I'm talking with A-Ru translator. THAT "Haer'Dalis point"! *enrages*
