Redundancy != incompatibility.

Sorry, but I have no idea what the cheese that means, but this might just mean something:

Redundancy=!incompatibility

As then the meaning of the math symbols can be loosely translated as: '!' = 'not', and '=' = 'is'. Or even better:

Redundancy=compatibility

Those statements mean two different things.

X != Y means X and Y are different
X = !Y means X is the opposite of Y

Let's see if this works...

X = some monkeys can fly
Y = all monkeys can fly

X != Y is true
Saying "some monkeys can fly" is not the same as saying "all monkeys can fly".

X = !Y is false
Saying "some monkeys can fly" is not the same as saying "it's not true that all monkeys can fly". "It's not true that all monkeys can fly" means "either some monkeys can fly or no monkeys can fly".

Actually they don't, as you can get the result by multiplying the first results with -1, which in math always produce the same result. But see, this is where the my point comes out, it's about the interpretation of those symbols and the knowledge to see what hints to look out for... yes, your interpretation would be right, had I used spaces between the two symbols( != and = !), but I didn't.
And most people do not see them, automatically, which is to say that you have got to be the greatest mage for people to actually understand you correctly without question. And why I derailed this conversation... sorry.

Imoen Romance:

  • installs under Win64
  • removed stupid errors (the .bat literally contained "cd where_are_my_pants")
  • don't copy the .bat files to BG2's directory for no reason
  • remove wav files from the override after uninstallation
  • "fixed" compatibility error with bg2_tweaks - More Interjections: some dialogue triggers (required for completing the mod) wouldn't work until you were 'far enough' from the rest of the party, and bg2_tweaks alters that check to always return false. Now said triggers always happen (even if you're near the rest of the party).
  • Continuous Imoen fixes (straight copy from the previous BWF fixes).

The patch should be decompressed just inside the Big World Fixpack directory, completely overwriting the old contents.

Unfortunately, 1) requires to recode most sound files from ImRom, bringing this fix' download size to 13 megs (the full BWF is 900 KB). Hopefully you'll have a way to avoid wasting that much bandwidth if the user doesn't use ImRom :)

Nonsense to you :P. Clearly, you've not also had logic courses or you'd know such symbols were used there too. Math and logic are related, but there's a major difference: math concerns numbers primarily whereas logic concerns words primarily (though it *can* be applied to things such as math). But the original statement (Redundancy=!incompatibility) is therefore one of logic, not math, since it does not deal with numbers.

That's actually quite useful to add in my ini :) Maybe the next BWS could use this?? :P I'm looking at BiG World Setup\Includes\09_Install.au3 and it has some lines that edit the baldur.ini

I just tried this out and found that:
1) Adding JZINTRO=1 (Jerry Zinger mod intro) to an unmodded game doesn't do anything :)
2) But adding 2 lines of SARADUSH=1 (vanilla FMV) makes the movie show up 2 times in the movie list in the main menu :P

So, it'd be better to overwrite the entire [Movies] block with that codebox rather than append stuff to it...
