I've just started a BW game , "tactic" installation with all mod installed. (almost all mods.... Mods removed from my installation)
I'm at the Gnoll stronghold : in one xvart cave, in my past BG campaigns, i always found a Tome of Influence and Leadership

The tome is gone: i find 2 scroll, some potions ... but no Tome

Which mod made my Tome disappearing? I'm expecting not to find the others,too?

My BW test is going on...
I'm in Nashkell Mines now, i've taken Xan in my party : he's a sorcerer now
Every time i try to level up him, the game crashes to the desktop

The error message in ToBexLoader :
ASSERTION FAILED!
Return Addr: 0X6E1260
File: InfScreenCharacter.cpp
Line: 3703
Expression: pButton != NULL
Message: (null)

Any suggestion?

Another error i get every time
In the the character info screen, i don't see the RACE of NPC joined to my party
I get an error message in TobExLoader : getRaceText(): RACETEXT.2DA not found

Last error i met

Elka - Natalka and Imanel Silversword not attacking

I've the latest release of NTotSC, but Elka and Natalka does not attack

I don't know what that means, but apparently it concerns the character info screen, so it might be related to the missing racetext.2da. You would have to get that file and put it in your override - not sure where, check the TobEx thread. As for the NTotSC stuff, that should probably be reported in the forum for that mod. Even that other thread isn't in that forum, so the modder is unlikely to see it. Stuff gets buried in this subforum pretty quickly.

Another question:
In Big World Project Guide v9.3, pg.200, i read
"Hotfixes
These are temporary fixes that work for many players, but don't solve the root of the problem. Copy all files out
of the subfolders from BiG World Fixpack\Hotfixes into the override directory at the end of installation. Maybe they don't work for all installations!"

In game directory, i've the "Big World Fixpack" folder : it's required that i copy all files in Override or the game install has already copied them? I can copy the files right now, while i'm playing?

If you used the BWS, they were in the Override folder already in the setup/install phase, so they most likely won't be needed, see the .pdf file is there to set you for the setup if you don't use the auto setup tool that the BWS is. So don't read it like it was the Bible (for some beliefs), it's really not.

just to collect all problem/error/bug that i founded so far in my BW-tactic installation:

when i try to dual class imoen to mage i get CTD

same problem in this post

The problem could be caused by the two .exe hacks... try to start the game from the BGMain.exe, and not from the ToB Ext launcher.exe, dual the character, save if you can, exit the game and re-start using the ToB Ex launcher...

Now xan level up without CTD but I can not choose new spells for him: I posted the strange message i get when i level up him

One thing I don't like about my installation, is the possibility for the NPC to have proficiencies in all weapons
I would like to remove it
Which mod installed this option?

Were I you, I would restart in most cases... but you could try without it too.

Were I you, I would restart in most cases... but you could try without it too.

Big problem: I started the game two weeks ago with a half-orc F / T to have Use Any Item: doing a test with CluaConsole: SetCurrentXp(3000000) I see now that among the high-level abilities USE ANY ITEM is MISSING! I do not know if it is an option loaded by a mod or a bug, but I have to figure out which mod caused the error, it can be excluded from my next installation.

Any tips?
