What's stopping us from preventing us from taking over and updating the file ourselves?
I haven't even finished downloading the mods. I want to install almost every mod the BWS includes in tbe pdf.
I really want to be able to contribute lasting fixes to problems encountered. I want my children to be able to play this super awesome modded game and not be able to easily tell which parts are from the original! I want them to have as bug free of an experience as possible.

Well nothing prevents you, if you want to maintain BWP Fixpack go ahead and knock yourself out. :P  It's big and time consuming job.
 
I'll be happy to report to you any bugs i encounter so that you can fix them and put them to BWP Fixpack. :D
 
Oh if you want to install almost every mod that BWP has (and mods that aren't in BWP) you need to use edited BWP bat-file, BWS doesn't let you install all mods, also Leonardo's BWP bat-file doesn't let you install all mods you like. In addition to edited bat-file you need to edit some mods tp2-file in order to remove some install restrictions. That's why i probably have biggest BWP game here.

The very fact that you routinely bypass the BWP bat file is telling in that it's not sufficient for people's needs. The mega mod has so much to offer people. We just need to make it as easy and bug free as possible

I wasn’t aware of problems with Kivan and Garrick - Tales of a Troubadour. I will investigate this for my next update.

I did a new installation a few days ago and had none of your problems above with the other mods. Instead my whole installation went without any error or warning. However, if you try to add Sandrah NPC to the megamod you will surely get a lot of errors. Unfortunately this mod requires many mods and components that aren’t documented. It will take some time to figure out what is required. Therefore I postponed Sandrah because of the many problems.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well i use highly modified bat-file and probably more mods than you that's why errors and warnings in my install.

 

That Sandrah adding didn't go well so i drop that for now.

 

Do know about Ellesime problem here. If you change install order RE before Kivan (probably then Haldamir) and Saerileth should eliminate incompability. Sadly TDD and Ninde incompability remains but with 10th workaround suggestion i can install both.

 

Somebody should start maintaining big mods now that Hoppy has been for years.

 

Oh how about Fields of Dead mod from Pocket Plane any news on that.

Can you direct me to 10th workaround?

Fields of Dead mod is on my to-do-list but isn’t included in upcoming BWP v15.1

Why do you add both TDD and TDD sin TDD?

Because TDD sin TDD adds 3 SoA merchants and 1 ToB merchant. They sell TDD items and also lots of items that aren't from TDD (don't know were but who cares).

It's wonderful things you can find with the mod search tool... I knew it was there(as I was the first replier in the thread), but I forgot where it was, so just "only items" without the quotes and I got the exact result.

Added forgotten Lost Items.

Changed Divine Remix to v 7.1

Here are results for test install 3.

NOT INSTALLED DUE TO ERRORS:

Breagar NPC v 7.00b_20150127
Garrick - Tales of a Troubadour v 1.23 (Leonardo has v 1.22)
Stratagems: Add an extra copy of some hard-to-find spell scrolls

 
Odd that Stratagems component "Add an extra copy of some hard-to-find spell scrolls" didn't install to my earlier BWP 13.0.1 either. But i can live without this component.

INSTALLED WITH WARNINGS:

Stivan the Hunter -> Default portrait (Nix)

                           
Gloran NPC in polish should be english.
Chantelame version 6 in french should be english.

Kivan v 15 didn't install. Install ends without anything happening. I really don't understand why. Did test install with vanilla BG2 and it worked ok.
 
For test install 4:

Changing Breagar NPC to v 6.09a and old BWP textpack english.

Maybe changing Kivan v 13 or 14.

Changes for test install 4:

Fixed stupid mistake on Garrick - Tales of a Troubadour aka removed garrick-tt.tp2 v 1.22 from root (v 1.23 is at mod folder)
Changed Breagar NPC to v 6.09a and old BWP textpack english
Fixed language typo in tra.txt that (probably) caused french in Chantelame version 6
Workaround for Gloran NPC in english
Changed Kivan to v 14
Removed Stratagems component "Add an extra copy of some hard-to-find spell scrolls"
Removed Stivan NPC

Added TS25 MiniMod for testing purposes (for playing of course :P ).

micbaldur , can I just say that I'm very impressed with you?  Thanks a lot for your efforts.  I don't know anyone who puts to much work at multiple test installs.    I really wish I had more time to assist.

Thanks, Nightfarer catched typo in TRA.txt in BWP Install folder.

 

Changed:

gloran=Po-0,En=1

to:

gloran=Po-0,En-1

Damn that's hard to spot i have to say.

This looks promising, no errors of warnings this time. I getting real close to working BWP 15.0.2.

 

Garrick - Tales of a Troubadour installed just fine. Except it needed manual input (ask for potrait) during install.

 

Breagar v 6.09a installed german.

TS25 MiniMod in japanese.

 

Kivan v 14 installed just fine. So v 15 probably has some EE shit that prevents installing with bat-file.

 

Changes for test(?) install 5:

 

Fixes Breagar and TS25 MiniMod language problem

Fix for Garrick - Tales of a Troubadour portrait input

Add english for Er'vonyrah (Sovereign)  v 1.3.2 for testing purposes (and playing of course)

 

Shit changing install order of RE and Kivan, Haldamir and Saerileth doesn't solve Ellesime dialogue problem. So RE component "The Queen, by Domi" is incompatible (with out fix for RE) with Kivan and Saerileth.

What is trying to install bat-file:

Kivan "0 2 6 7"

 

Kivan v15 components:

@100=Kivan of Shilmista
@200=Change Deheriana's Class from Fighter/Mage/Cleric to -> Wild Mage

That explains why Kivan didn't install. So Leonardo has typo in BWP pdf-file, it's not v 15 it's v 14 then.

Well seems like i have working BWP 15.0.2 now. Thanks for Nightfarer and Quiet for help. :cheers:

 

I have to check how my pre-install fixes and tweaks installed.

 

Planning to do another install with workaround for White Angus Breagar (thanks Nightfarer) and Stivan NPC despite it warnings (it didn't have any problems when i previously used it years ago).
