Dunno what's up with that. Dare to try the BWS install since it managed to get the files extracted?
Sure. I've got nothing to lose really anyways.
And just what I noticed with that full code in above post; noticed it happened in around 1pp4 & BG2Fixpack (Oversight roughly in-between the two)… here attaching the setup.bats of those two just in case:

Those are Setup-XYZ.exe-files, which are renamed WeiDU.exes. All the same, nothing to see, you cannot read anything out of those. Setup-XYZ.debug-files are much better for guys that would understand/debug weidu or its code.

Hmm. Can you check if it exists? Was it deleted by accident? BWS should have created a copy of the folder while creating the backup before the install. If the file is missing there, it was not there to begin with. Copy it back into position and you could try that install again. And you can skip the executable-file. There's no benefit in posting them.

no uh scripts folder in either potential backup.
But found one in an different bws backup so...
Looks like it's working for now.

Yay game BGT Megamod working now. 
So far I've only had a few freezes inn Candlekeep, which luckily I had quick saved shortly before. And I mean the task manager "game is not responding" type freeze.
Outside of the 'keep now, done all quests I could find while within'
So far so good.
